Just as a correction, I was talking about the current Brighton team and aspiring to be like them. Not the Brighton under Hughton who were defensive, direct and heavily reliant on Glenn Murray.
Potter’s Brighton are really entertaining. And in players like Bissouma, MacAllister, Lamptey, Moder, Mwepu, Sanchez and Maupay they have a decent core of younger players to mix with the experienced ones like Dunk, Gross, Trossard, Lallana and Webster.
I look at Brighton and see an identity, entertaining football and decent recruitment. I see a team on the rise.
I wouldn’t be too fond on Derby following Hughton’s Brighton. Defensive, struggling for goals and outplayed most weeks.

I reckon they can finish top half this season.
For me they have overtaken the likes of Palace, Southampton and Burnley. I’m kind of jealous of them. They’re exactly how I would want Derby to be after top-flight consolidation.

I can’t see anyone getting close to them even if Leicester continue to overachieve and Spurs keep Harry Kane.
There is more chance of Villa and Everton finishing above Arsenal than Arsenal getting top four.

To be honest I think we struggled to get out in part because the ref let a lot of niggly fouls go as we were trying to get out. Jozwiak and Sibley in particular had their heels clipped so many times with the ref just ignoring it, honestly they'd have been better off hitting the deck rather than trying to stay on their feet.

Second half was mostly Boro though. They missed a great headed chance at the back post, hit the bar with another glancing header while they also should have scored when they were in down our right but the cross across goal was poor.
Boro pushed up second half and we struggled to get out as Sibley and Joz tired.
A draw was fair over the 90 minutes, but you can understand with Boro’s momentum second half why they may feel they should have won it.
