  1. It would be a shame if this place disapeared. I'm not a golfer myself, but did work for DCC many years back and did 6 months as a green keeper at Allestree and really enjoyed it.

We had to be there way before the first golfers turned up so we could check the fairways, rake the bunkers and swish the greens and it was a cracking walk to start the day off.

Derby County have emerged as potential contenders to complete a deadline day deal for Patrick Roberts, sources have exclusively told Football League World.

FLW understand that the player would be keen on a move should the Rams solidify their interest with a loan offer.

Gibson helping us out with a loan! Geroutofit.

What are you talking about??? WR stated this week that the lad had rejected our offer and is likely to leave for Liverpool. Being a schoolboy tends to mean by law that we cannot have him tied down to a contract. No contract = tribunal = peanuts ??

I take it you don't know about the interest from the mancs then?

Liverpool are willing to pay extra rather than let someone else tempt him.

Did he sign a contract? The answer according to WR is no, so no contract = tribunal and not £ms that we are lead to believe he is valued at ergo = peanuts ????

And you know this to be 100% true?

If Manu and Liverpool want him, the chances are one will bid higher than the other ergo= not peanuts.

How do you know it’s 4 times the amount??

Plus, with regards to “rubbish” statement...I have received and shown loyalty and have done for 25 years, ignoring advances on multiple occasions. Loyalty is a big thing for some and not others clearly!!

    Now back to the point!!!

We as a club have invested in the lad, his advisors could’ve shown some loyalty to the club that has nurtured him, particularly in the current financial climate we find ourselves in. What is the point in our academy if the bigger clubs are going to spirit our up and comers away for peanuts!!!!

How do you know it's for peanuts?

I don’t think £3million is a paltry fee for a 16 year old who hasn’t done anything yet! I’m sure there are add ons aswell based on future performance.

If it's £3million up front with add ons, that's a very good deal for a youngster that hasn't made a start for the 1st team.

I meant for next season, it's admirable if people are willing to fund the club like it's a charity but to me that doesn't seem right when we have an owner who should be able to fund the club.

Why should the owner be the only one to fund the club? I class it as my club and want it to still be here when all this covid stuff is over, and if that means chucking the club a couple of hundred quid, I'm happy to pay.

    All players dive.

If you don't like him, you can just say so. You don't need to try to justify it with ********.

I have no problem with him as a person, but I don't like cheats. Didn't like Ravenelli, hated it when Chris Martin cheated and can't stand to watch a talented player like Grealish go down so easy when he doesn't need to. I'd love to have a player with his talent at Derby, but would still moan if he dived rather than use his gift to play the game as it should be played.
