    Hi
I have 15,000 extra tickets for the game tomorrow going spare. Does anyone want them? I don't really want any money for them so I haven't bothered opening the ticket office or phone lines. Let me know. I might take some time getting back to you though.

Well at least that’s one arrival to celebrate today.

Congratulations to you and your family.

It is an absolute joke this. But unsurprisingly so DCFC. You’ve got to ask yourself why 24hrs later no one is any the wiser. We knew before the meeting what we know now.

We truly are becoming a laughing stock.

It just seems a waste of attendees time to the have to submit their account to the club to get it vetted and in the interim of the club agreeing the content to be published then heaps unnecessary pressure on the attendees as they are hounded for updates.
    Seems farcical.

I don’t blame David one bit, but yeah to go to a meeting as a supporter’s representative, to hear things (most of which might be covered by NDA) which he can filter, and then report back to the supporter’s group, subject to the club first overviewing and approving what he is going to report, must be the most stupid communication process you could actually imagine.

Why don't you just buy his ticket next to a few more spare seats and then go and sit with him?
The ground can't possibly be simultaneously half empty and too full to let you sit with a mate.

Quite smart by us. We can’t not pay players if they don’t earn anything. Skirting round the possible 3 point penalty. ?? very cute.

Hopefully that young centre back, Jagielka. Keep an eye on him he has a real bright future in the game.

I think we need to get answers to every point on this, including the details behind each one. Why are we the only club in the entire football league default in payments to the HMRC. Do regulation 16.2, 16.3 and P&S non-submission of audited accounts really relate to purely amortisation or is there more to it?

This is as of this morning.

I think most of us do but, sadly, it only takes a handful of noisy folk to express their frustration to make it sound like a lot.
A few things are certain: Regardless of the result, regardless of the performance, I will not be booing the team, Mel or Rooney. I won’t join in any “witty” songs about Rooney and I won’t be leaving early. I rather suspect (and hope) the majority will react the same.
That doesn’t make me a better fan (I’ll do plenty of grumbling and moaning to myself) or mean I don’t blame Mel or that I rate Rooney but I’ll do my best to support the team and accept the fact that Rooney is doing the best he is capable of and Mel is doing his best to sell the club.

In association football, the Panenka is a technique used while taking a penalty kick in which the taker, instead of kicking the ball to the left or right of the goalkeeper, gives a light touch underneath the ball, causing it to rise and fall within the centre of the goal, deceiving the goalkeeper who is counted on by the taker to have guessed a side and committed to a dive away from the centre. It was invented by Czech player Antonín Panenka, who introduced this technique to the world in the UEFA Euro 1976 final in Belgrade, when he beat West German goalkeeper Sepp Maier to claim the title for the Czechoslovakian national team.
