There is definitely talent there. I always thought he linked up really well with Lawrence and they appear on the same wavelength. If we can get 7 or 8 performances out of them between now and the end of the season we may stand a chance, both of Saturdays finishes show how good technically he is. Especially the second, most players would have snatched at it and blazed it over the bar.

I dont know about that he has another season in him but if he is hang up his boots let get him coaching our under 23s or under 18s let him pass on his experience to youngsters.

I don’t think it’s what people expect them to say I think it is more the fact that they use terms such as imminently, shortly and fans will be surprised how quick things move.

They aren’t doing themselves any favours. Imminently can mean witching a few hours or in the grander scheme it could mean weeks/months depending on the context. These words are what fans cling onto and when nothing materialises within a day or two frustration starts to build which then turns to anger. The EFL keep chipping in does nothing to calm the fans either.

Seriously though I find the incompetence throughout the whole process off the scale.
The longer it drags on the club loses more value. None of it makes good business sense.
I'm actually at the stage now that I simply don't know how I feel about it all.
Frustrated. Infuriated. Astounded.
On the pitch the lads have been a credit to the City as have the coaching team. Everyone else in positions of power and influence....................

My gut still tells me that yes, we will.
Letting Derby go under ultimately doesn’t help anyone, EFL included.
I have a lot of thoughts about everything that’s gone on/is going on but it is probably best that I keep them to myself.
All I will say is that the supporters & staff have been let down at every turn.

Only caught the last 25mins. What I took from it was, Festy needs to release the ball a lot quicker and work harder tracking back and the goal was t a foul on either Festy or Davies. Davies had his shirt too. For me nowadays players are more focused on grappling with their opponents than trying to win the ball.
