If they go down, every team in the championship is playing for third place. Teams who will have built up to a promotion push next year will have that taken away from them by two teams who cheated their way through the league above. And they'll rock up in the championship with players that cost more than entire championship squads. So every single championship team and fan also gets punished for the cheating.

Like many things in football, that stinks. Every day I dislike the modern game more and more.

The only reason I'm still involved is thanks to... or the fault of... one Mr David Clowes.
Heaven forbid, had the unthinkable actually happened, there's no way I'd be showing any interest in football now.
I truly couldn't tell you who played in the last game I watched (full, or even highlights) that didn't involve The Rams.  I'd imagine it was the last England WC (proper) game?
WC & Euro qualifiers... Champions League... Match of the day... Live Prem and/or EFL games... Local parks...small time amateurs... none of it interests me, and hasn't for some time.
I doubt I'd recognise any more than a dozen players names from the Prem, and I'd be amazed if I could match more than a handful of prem players to their current club.
Even my participation on here is based on 40% Love of DCFC, and 60% "banter with the gang"!
I don't even put this apathy down to "strong morals"... I'm just bored with the wider game, full stop.  Disillusioned, I guess! 
Diving, money, VAR, Rich v Poor, too many games played, too many live games on the various TV options, the over-analysis of it all.

But the final nail in the coffin is Aramco becoming FIFAs biggest sponsor.

Maybe it’s always been this way. Since Abramovic and Man City, and it’s unfair to pick out the Saudis. Why shouldn’t they get involved? But this definitely feels like the beginning of the end. Or maybe the end of the end, the beginning of the end started a while ago.

Damn - not the news I was expecting to read today. This place will never quite be the same again. I always used to enjoy when a newbie would have a go at his spelling and then skulk back under their rock when everyone put them straight. No one messed with our B4!

Very sad news. Scraves and flanges will remain the greatest thing anyone has ever posted on a forum. He always made me smile with his sometimes ludicrous, sometimes unrealistic, sometimes fair but always highly passionate posts - a positivity that sometimes we could all do with a bit more of. His rallying calls were always crazy and brilliant. 
He'll be missed and as others have said, I hope the kind words on this thread will bring some comfort to his family. Top man.

I'm a big poppy fan myself... but never been keen on forcing it on folk.
As it stands, the whole on-pitch Last Post, uniformed Ram Mascot, Ranked soldiers, silent reflection etc can be ignored by those who don't agree. 
Not so easy to ignore if one of those poppy petals are on your seat... and a dead cert to be booed (or worse) if you don't hold it aloft!  It's unfair to force this on folk in these seats, as disappointing as it is for me to write that! 
Yeah, I'd have loved to have seen it, and much respect to those that tried to organise it, but it wasn't the wisest move by the club/SLO to have agreed to it in the first place.
Those of us that do like to display the poppy will already be doing so.  That in itself should be enough.
