As we're now in league 1 and not going to feature anywhere near I'd have though on Sky as last season, So all the big betting companies and beer brands will give us a swerve as there will be no big exposure, There are plenty of local millionaires, Big businesses who would I hope love to sponsor their local team, Free tickets for their employees, A boost for advertising, Being linked with a great club with a huge fan base...What I don't want is the Forestry commission to sponsor us, I couldn't bare us having a Tree on the front of our shirts?  

That's cool. All I really want is something meaningful and people will remember not something seven other teams have or have had   I brought the 94 away shirt last weeks AutoWindscreen still a classic for me.

Byrne's one of those journeyman professionals. At the time he and we profited from Wigan's misfortunes. Now he and someone else will profit from ours. He was a decent enough player when we needed a right back, but this will prove his loss as much as ours.
I like that there are players coming here talking about the special situation and atmosphere of the club, and it gives me confidence that good times aren't that far away. If Byrne wants to remain a journeyman and not be a part of something special, he can leave and be instantly forgotten.

Really like that! I think he'll be really good for football and hopefully Derby for a long time  I'm really liking League one Derby at the moment. I see Rooney has got some more press about going to DC Utd or something just makes me will media stories about him ever end? if he'd had stayed. always him the bigger news story than the club.

It was capped at 23K in the Premier league, to allow for walk u sales and also players tickets, press and away fans. Someone commented on here that maybe it will be different in L1, particularly with regard to expected away fans and less press. If we get to 20K I will be impressed though.

As per the EFL regulations, Pride Parks capacity is set at 32,000. Therefore, I believe the maximum is set at 23,000 season tickets, as each club has to offer a maximum of 10% to away fans, and in Derby's case that will be 3,200.
There also has to be a percentage available for the 'on-the-day' / 'walk-ups', which would be in the region of 5,800.

But that is exactly how the system works, its not a closed shop, you do not have to have away membership or even a season ticket if there is a large enough allocation, my grandson went to Blackpool as his first ever away game when the extra allocation became available.  Some of the grounds have large away allocations such as Sheffield Wednesday, Bolton , MK dons. I don’t think Exeter on a Tuesday night will be oversubscribed.

But is it fair that someone that cannot get to many away games but wants to go to one finds it a closed shop when they try to get a ticket? For popular games maybe you do it like cup ticket etc, e.g. How many away games you've been to. People that have been to 5+ get the first period of sale and so on.

I think its a shame for the Disabled Supported that they haven't sorted out adding the carer ticket on-line. So had to go the Ground to sort it out, as the phone lines are always busy. However only have to go through that farce once a year.
