Great! They have added a feature that literally every other app has had for years...

Who is going to switch to using Twitter for this, when they've embedded the use of other apps for it?

What is his market differentiator here that will convince people to change apps?

Stuff like this really just underlines how much of a dead duck the app is. What will he add next? A calendar function, or maybe Snake

Musk has a proven track record of success which you cannot deny.

People ridiculed Tesla and Space X years ago saying it would not work.

When he takes SpaceX/Starlink public in five years time I expect X will be part of the deal.

on what planet is it a "news app" and which 161 countries?? The lack of a source makes it ripe for some serious community notes!

I assume that this one of his shadow accounts? This is a far more interesting tweet. I'm wondering if the one you posted was a honey trap, as the vast majority of replies are engagement farmers

The change from Twitter to X obviously will be a slow process but change is happening that will increase users.

Mistakes will be made same as Tesla and SpaceX but I would back Musk because he is a winner.

Interesting - but does anyone actually use Twitter because they think "oh I hope that I get some ads targeted at me that will make me want to buy something"? Most users will block the accounts of advertisers anyway. It's not what they want from the app

The fact that they now have some sort of smoke and mirrors AI which allows "algorithms to reach people beyond your targeted audience" sounds good for the advertisers, but bad for the users and will turn them away. Which in the long run is bad for the advertisers. All feels like a death spiral to me

    Advertisers want social media users

    Your time starts, now!

This, what is racist today post reminds me why I hardly ever read this thread anymore.

If you disagree with my opinion on this conflict you must be a racist attitude is exactly why no solution will be found any time soon.

    Over and out

  5. The only football my wife really likes to watch on TV nowadays is the F.A. cup early rounds.

Watching a lower league club win or draw against a team from a higher league is all part of the romance of the FA Cup.

Hopefully a backlash against this ridiculous decision will make them change their minds but not holding my breath.

They will simply pander to every whim of the teams that keep threatening to leave to a European super league and it will only get worse was my statement when the Premier league was formed and nothing has changed my mind ever since.

I think it was this time last week i said that the pound had slipped from 1.37 to 1.27 against the dollar in the last 3-4 years

down to 1.24 since last week

when a strong asset goes face to face with a weak asset

Forget he is snake oil salesman.

After admitting false accounting in microstrategy he lost 6 billion dollars in a single day during the dot com bubble.

BTC down 6.6% in last 24hrs still think it’s a store of value?

A global macro financial assessment and An interesting watch ..peter schiff aka  mr anti bitcoin.

tbf though hes not wrong in the slightest

im telling u now … a 2008 style financial crash isnt an impossibility in the next few years.. cos something has to give either borrowing/spending , further v painful interest rate hikes, which would probably cause a further recessions or inflation continues to rise year on year making the recent cost of living crisis look like a picnic

Peter Schiff is a long term value investor that’s why he dislikes BTC.

Price is what you pay value is what you get.

BTC is a highly speculative digital asset it’s best traded as @Comrade 86as already explained.

The hardest part of investing is knowing when to sell when you have a big profit but think it will go higher.

I once had a massive profit in a penny share  which halved before I sold thinking it would recover on the way down,  this maybe the last time BTC crashes never to recover again.

You really need an exit strategy to take profit.

This is more of the video you posted and explains why Saylor never wants debate with Schiff.

oh jesus,,Whos taken the jam out of your doughnut… lol

Yes anyone over the age of 17 … does that invalidate my point? No .. not in the slightest.. we should all be able to remember it then and start to think actually the pound is losing its value when measured against the dollar

jesus… Ok 🤦 for the pedantic amongst us… reletively speaking we are back at ath levels…. having broken previous high of 69k by reaching 73k we are now channeling between 64/5 and 72k which many expect us to do up u til the event and up to 6 months after the halving … happy?

At no point have i ever said the halving provides an immediate price spike… its common knoweldge to anyone who has taken any time in this space that the subsequent bull run historically follows some 6 months after the halving event

but being the clever dick u are im sure u know why that is and why possibly things might be slightly different this time round😜😉

So when do you plan to take profit from Bitcoin?

Back to the 1970s where this joke was funny

I used to work with someone who was a man by day but a woman at night just a couple of years ago.

When we went out for our departments Christmas drink he was invited to attend same as everyone else.

But he was the only one that was asked if he was attending in his home kit or away kit.

    😂😂😂

Obviously he saw the funny side because his answer was you will have to wait and see with a wry smile.
