Well, not strictly speaking *everyone* 🤣

It’s the poor that are suffering the most for basic food needs $7 for a box of cereal or piece of fruit, but the price increases are not included in the CPI figures so no one is bothered.

My rules on eBay are  - just bid once, make it the maximum you are willing to pay, and if you win, happy days. If not, then accept that you've been outbid and get over it

Always check Facebook marketplace first before you buy from Ebay.

Bought a never been used Ninja 15-1 air fryer for £100, brand new cost is £340 unless on offer.

I made no offer to reduce the price just said I would pay full asking price in cash and collect.

    Diva strop over?

Good to have you back. Was gutted when you left because you hate it descending into racism talk.

After you posted your neighbour story. Then the star of David vandalised. And then didn't realise the context around Rachel Riley.

Welcome back, apologist. Your input has been missed in the couple of days you announced your exit.

Zzzzzzzz Just looked to see if you had anything normal to post.

As usual nothing just same old diatribe.

Oh dear. Another person in a diva strop with no idea of context or the fact it was a joke aimed at a person who always claims racism.

Why do people feel the need to tell you they're not talking to you anymore? Wtf? Am I meant to beg you to come back? Please don't leave the thread. The thread needs you.

Nobody has even talked about racism for the majority of the thread and your last Antisemitism post was ignored. The irony here is funny. Man who's angered that people are easily offended is easily offended.

Bye Mariah. You'll be missed. x

Its going to be a very intersting time tbh macro political wise

will the pound continue to fall against the dollar?

will the US enter a recession?

    will we enter a recession?

war in Ukraine and it effects around the world.. more borrowing , more inflation

war in the middle east, more funding, more borrowing, more inflation

how will the brexit import charges that kick in end of the month effect our food prices, potentially more inflation.

will inflation ever come under control to the 2% target.

will interest rates come down (obviously tied with inflation)

how will this effect the stock markets, how will this effect bitcoin

Personally i think were still in for a tough ride for at least a couple of years minimum.

    see what happens

Inflation is the result of continuing money printing and ever increasing debt, I cannot ever see it being under control for a very long time.

In the US due to the decriminalisation of shop lifting, criminal gangs are raiding stores on a regular basis which is increasing prices for everyone as well.

Peter Schiff reckons by 2031 the tax revenues in the US will only cover the debt repayments, social security, Medicare, military, this is why he has already left for the tax haven of Puerto Rico because he knows income taxes will be substantially higher.

Even if the US came to its senses and elected a strong leader the opposition would be taking them to the courts all the time.

At some point there is going to be an almighty crash and all assets will drop in value by approx 40% or inflation will remain high for a long time just like the seventies.

If everything crashes and taxes are higher then Bitcoin will be used to avoid paying taxes.

Only other possibility is go back to some kind of gold standard.

As for the UK, if the US sneezes the rest of the world will catch a cold.

You don’t have to buy just gold.

Newmont gold mining company is up approx 30% since Peter Schiff bought it a couple of months ago.

When the sell other assets from the Newcrest merger I would expect a handsome one off special dividend.

    Newmount up 10% today

Here u go … an example of “crypto vs bitcoin.

one of the more famous ones .. xrp vs bitcoin.

all time chart monthly chart … they all trend to nothing against bitcoin… cos theyre being inflated …. Like the fiat currencies we use day to day.

Remember what iv said …. A weak asset against a strong asset.

Exactly like the pound against the dollar .. and exactly like the dollar against bitcoin

This is another example of why my love for the game becomes a little more tarnished.

I’m proud of the fact that I have become an old-fashioned bitter football fan and I have no idea of what is happening in the first division, nor do I have any idea on who is still in Europe.  I don’t even know what the format of the European competitions are nowadays, and I really don’t care.  It’s all predicated on greed for the biggest clubs and every rule appears to be geared towards maintaining an “elite”.

I looked at the England squad not so long ago, and it had a number of players who I had never heard of.

I love Derby County and not much more, to be honest.

I love the fact that in the lower divisions, there are probably 16 or so teams at the start of the season who think that, if things go well, this could be their year.  However, that gap is becoming wider and wider each year due to the top echelons being governed by greed.

The fact that so many teams are going so close to the wire and getting points deductions is down to fear of slipping off the gravy train therefore eye watering amounts of money creates eye watering amounts of greed.

For me, a top level footballer should earn a maximum of what a CEO or a doctor would earn.  Why should they be earning that sort of money a week?  And why shouldn’t they get another job after they have retired?

Anyway, the FA Cup used to be a flagship event that everyone used to watch.  Everyone who is around my age will have seen Coventry Vs Tottenham and can probably list a good number of players from each side that day - they were very special occasions.  Now, the competition is dying a death of a thousand cuts, where it’s now just an irritant to the big teams, who will inevitably win it.  I don’t even know who is the current holder, but I think it is monopolised by of a tiny handful of teams.

    Anyway, apologies for my rant.

I can remember a long time ago watching England school boys play Scotland at Wembley just after the formation of the Premier league and it was a really enjoyable game.

After the match they interviewed the MOTM and asked him about his future ambitions in football.

Without any hesitation he said being a millionaire was his ambition, I was shocked that someone that young was more interested in the money rather than winning the FA cup or Premier league or having a long and distinguished career playing for England.

I used to love going to England games home and away and watching them on TV.

I hardly know when the next fixture is nowadays or who is in the squad.

The early rounds of the FA cup is about the only real enjoyment I get from football nowadays apart from watching the Rams and now the FA have ruined that now as well.

Celebrate the return of the Rams after very nearly being killed by Steve Gibson, Rick Parry, Kieran Maguire and that arse from Wycombe,

Go on the pitch/don't go on the pitch, just stay in the ground and enjoy the day then retire to a pub crawl round town.

Merry Widows, Neptune, Metro Bar, Tiger Bar, White Horse, Noahs Ark, Jorrocks, Dolphin, Bess of Hardwick etc.

If someone would be so kind as to shovel me on the last train to Utch it would be greatly appreciated.

It's not hard to create a website.

Things are only easy with knowledge, you've thrown in another thing now, ledger, is that another term for a digital wallet?

Look back at your own personal experience, from day 1 of reading into Bitcoin to actually investing, how long did that take?

Just watched this she gives a very good guide of the pitfalls of buying crypto
