The spotlight still on the EFL for their conduct. No surprise chairman Rick Parry seems in favour of the move by Morris. No doubt thinking it may ease the pressure on them and put it back on the two clubs.

We are currently an easy target for a corrupt organisation like the EFL and it’s puppet masters Gibson and Cuhig to push around. However Morris is an individual of their ilk - a ruthless businessman who is more than happy to pursue a scorched earth policy to win at all costs. That said I’m not sure Gibson or Cuhig have the balls to go up against him. To be honest they all deserve each other - as long as our club can move forward….duck ‘em all!

Not a chance because they know they won't win. It will further highlight how vexacious these claims are though. I wish Mel had done this a month ago.

Worst case scenario is they refuse to engage with MM directly. Mel Morris then needs to speak to the potential new owners and offer a personal guarantee to fight this case alongside them and finance any negative outcome (of which we all know there won’t be any)

After 10 minutes talking about /with the legend Neil Warnock (God I can't stand that man) they then show Forest's goals against us from last week, then Rob Dorset suggests there were as many as 2k on the march. 2k! What a prat.
And who do they have as pundits today, Joby Macanuff and Robert Earnshaw. Is that really all they could come up?

There will be a further penalty. The EFL always revisit. They disgust me.
I am praying for a whistleblower. They will be found out one day. It’s been going on for years as they hide behind opaque procedures that can seemingly be changed or invented on a whim.

They've got used to doing whatever the duck they want without major scrutiny, with 95% of people turning a blind eye. Must be a hard habit to break.
All the absolute poo that they've come out with, all their biased interpretations of their own rules designed to duck their 'enemies' over when it suits them but defend themselves when it doesn't, have backed them into a corner where when it comes to them having to do the right thing it only exposes the amount of times they've done the wrong thing.
Actually doing the right thing and deciding that Boro/Wycombe should settle down now leaves them exposed and in danger, so they double, treble, quadruple down on the wrong to save their own skin.
A weak, pathetic organisation.

We have constantly been advised by the EFL that any member of the EFL Board who has a personal interest in the Derby/Middlesborough/Wycombe saga is not allowed to sit in a meeting where discussions/decisions are held/made.
 
Surely if the EFL Board, as a whole, have made an agreement with Middlesborough FC to take action against Derby, to avoid the EFL being sued by Middlesborough - then all of the Board (who made that agreement with Middlesborough) has a “conflict of interest” and should not decide whether Middlesborough’s current claim is a “Football Debt”.
 
This decision should be taken by an independent body.

I mean, this situation is the fault of the EFL from everything available to the public. 
The spurious claims by Middlesbrough and Wycombe could be dealt with near instantly, which from what Quantuma have said, will lead to Derby being bought. The reason the EFL are doing nothing, is that they are covering themselves. 
They have failed English Football, the EFL are no longer fit for purpose. It's time for them to go, however this situation resolves. 

I think a good proportion of this forum could have taken the claims apart......
Very disappointing,  would have been better getting Colin Gibson to have done it

Is anyone up of EFL regs? I'm writing to Rick to complain about the "systematic cheating" comments and was going to suggest they had broken this regulation.  Anone have any better ideas?
 
21.2        Notwithstanding the provisions of Regulation 21.1, all Officials and Players shall by virtue of their fulfilment of those roles be deemed to have given to The League:
21.2.1    an undertaking to The League not to bring The League or any Club, into disrepute;

This is truly awful. I’m sorry but this can be dealt with very clearly and quickly in an interview.
How do these clubs know, by the way, we were ‘systematically cheating’ before accounts were submitted and a  proper case was put against us. It’s almost as if someone at the EFL  was leaking confidential information isn’t it. I just wonder…?
