Fully agree - it is annoying if you have avoided hearing the result with a view to watching the game later, but it's the Match Highlights videos that show the score in the headline, so those are the ones that need changing.

Yeah agreed if there was a spoiler-safe page to access that would be great.

You can access all the games at this location, but when you click through you have to be careful not to accidentally get shown the score.

Just so if anyone from dcfc is looking at this....

Get rid of the "Related to This" section which will give away the result and if you can and also get rid of the score in the title of the video so when you cast it to your TV it doesn't show the final score as the video loads that would be good too.

It appears that having nearly forced us into extinction, that the tie and blazer brigade at the EFL have realised that it's not a great look.

A side note, perhaps, but it hardly seems to have discouraged other clubs from transgressing either. Makes me really quite grumpy!

I think they wanted more punishment but idc didn't agree. Efl could appeal.

There needs to be an independent body to charge clubs because like we've seen time and time again the EFL is a members club and as soon as you're seen as a target they'll try and beat you down as much as they can. Points deductions are not the answer.

  3. I'm not surprised warne was upset on Tuesday. Seems through the interviews and the highlights it was seen as a poor performance. NML looked a bit downbeat about the performances in his interview on Friday

I thought we looked much better yesterday and I'm sure it'll be a huge confidence boost and we can kick on.

I'm out of the country so can't be at Pride Park. Does that mean I might get to watch on Rams TV, or is this game not available?

    It's available outside UK&I.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the games to be uploaded after the game ends?

It's on a bit too late for me.

Is it like a few hours later or is it a few days later?

  5. I've been to a few women's games... completely different atmosphere to men's games. Way more families. If I had kids I know where I'd be taking them first... women's football is good too. Got a few mates who go regularly.

I'm going to England's game tomorrow not sure what the turnout will be.

Tempted to move to this next year when our Sky runs out. Does it have any on demand or anything? Think the only thing we'll miss is recording.

Has on demand but not sure how quickly stuff becomes available. You can't also pause/start live events later like you can on sky if you start recording.

  7. Looks like he's doing a well trodden interrail route. Did similar routes about 10 years a go. If he's as broke as I was it was supermarket beers in the hostels, ham and cheese sandwiches for lunch and a kebab for dinner with the odd nice meal thrown in..

Only tip would be avoid Vienna on a Sunday. Unless it's changed nothing was really open.

  8. Ended up getting 4G as no provider could seem to give us fibre as the local exchange/box was full and the ADSL was rubbish. Is pretty reliable and get 70-100MB/s which is enough for most things.

  9. There is some research that EFL did was that by removing 3pm blackout they'd lose 30/40 million in revenue. So I guess that for all the games they'd want a much bigger deal than they were offered to offset that.

I think sky will do very well out of this because I think they'll pick up/retain a lot of subscribers for their championship teams if most of their games are on TV. 62% of championship games will be on TV with all midweeks included.

They need to up the quality of the coverage though it often seems amateur in comparison to prem coverage.

  10. EFL new TV deal has been announced for 2024 onwards:

Each season, Sky Sports will broadcast a minimum of:

    328 Sky Bet Championship matches

248 Sky Bet League One matches

248 Sky Bet League Two matches

    All 15 Play-Off matches

    All 93 Carabao Cup matches

    All 127 EFL Trophy matches

This will be a big change as there will be fewer 3pm games, particularly in the championship.

The EFL are consistent in the punishments they've given clubs for administration and P&S once it is agreed what the failure actually is. However, there is inconsistency in reaching that agreement.

I think what I'd like to understand ATM is how COVID allowances have been applied in our case versus whats been permitted. Iirc an estimate was made for our losses at one point with some COVID allowance in there but whether or not that aligned with the other clubs permitted losses which came at a later date is completely unclear.
