Ed Dawes crying on Radio Derby. No one can ever say a bad word about him again!
Unfortunately they will though. Sad as it is, people can’t help them self and struggle to remember other people have human emotions

what we must not do is put pressure on clowes to achieve things instantly
it has to be a slow process and he will learn as he goes along.
DO NOT turn on him no matter what. HE HAS SAVED US, it must NEVER BE FORGOTTEN

Who's going to be first in line at Pride Park to buy their season ticket?
Let's get 20,000+ tickets sold in the next 4 weeks to show our thanks to David Clowes.
I’ve not had a season ticket for a few years after moving to Manchester, I just do the odd home and away… but if they put them on sale tonight I’d get one.

David Clowes. ??????

Is there anything actually stopping them for announcing at 5:12pm? Do things like this get embargoed until a given time? I think I remember a previous press release referencing an press embargo until 6pm

The statement those incompetent divs put out yesterday indicated that the delays were out of control for them and Clowes development.
But now this new statement seems to suggest that Quantuma and Clowes still have documents to sign?
I don't understand any of this.
Whoever was still supposed to sign something today has had an issue with the document… changes required

If we are signing players anywhere close to the calibre of Hourihane, Barkhuizen and Chester after literally being days away from not having a club I think I’ll have to go for a lie down.
ridiculously good signings at league one level for any club, let alone a club close to death for the last year
The Hourihane link almost seems too good to be true. 25 plus matches last season for a team finishing in the Championship play offs.

I think everyone is on the verge of cracking up. Dread to think what everyone will be like by 9pm if there’s still been no news

I wonder if Liam is in a meeting where all the staff are informed the deal has gone through, hope so.

Quite interesting assertions there. One is that the slync investors got tired of CK’s shenanigans. No surprise there. His gallivanting around may well have messed up their fundraising round leaving staff unpaid ?
The other is the claim that Stretford ‘self reported’ to the FA. That’s a weird one given he also claims to have had legal advice that he did nothing wrong. Perhaps q told him that if he didn’t blow the whistle then they wouldlots more to come
Thank you very much Slync investors

I haven't read back the last few pages, im seeing people on Twitter and Facebook suggesting Mel is somehow in cahoots with Clowes and is a silent partner, surely to god not true?
Would be like having your house burnt down and finding out after it's been rebuilt the arsonist that did it is now a minority owner of the property
All based on the wording in the statement that Mel backed the takeover. Of course he backs it, he’s sold his stadium.
People getting on the back of our potential saviour, can’t get my head around it.

Just off a long drive and see the latest news. Got to try and remember that today has been a good day on the whole for Derby County FC.
Still, the timing just seems so off for Wayne to leave now. Doesn’t seem ti make sense, especially with the rumours of him turning down a Chanpionship teams approach recently?!?- Crewton and David Graham Brown

I only ever really posted during administration, I suppose I was looking for reassurance. One thing I picked up on was B4s positivity, and his commitment to all things DCFC. This has made me shed a tear.
RIP. Up the Rams
