He’s a cryptic FUD who’s not worth the clickbait attention. He talks riddles and leaves things open ended so he doesn’t look stupid when nothing happens. He then blocks people who question him. Does have reliable sources at Wigan tho. 

I really can't be arsed to trawl through all the bile and vitriol by posters who are continually posting contradictory posts (such as Mel / the club should have never said anything during the failed takeovers. Now that we are keeping that matter private it's all we need to know what's happening. FFS!) 
So can anyone please provide a balanced summary of where we are at if indeed any communication has been allowed?
To the mods / admin, I'd like to say thank you to you for having the stamina to put up with all this crap from people who aren't happy unless they are inventing a crisis and then moaning about it, and for keeping some semblance of balance and sensibility about the forum. Balance and sensibility which are sadly lacking from a lot of people.

If staff and players believe what a fan group is saying on twitter then there are more problems in the club than we all thought!

Why do people take what Nixon says as gospel? He posts about 30 rumours on a Sunday and then a few weeks later retweets the one that ends up being true with 'Aye'.
Percy is the only one that when he tweets it you know it's true. 

Nixon is just gaslighting here. He doesn't have anyone on the inside giving him info. 
He seems to indicate they have all been given zero hour contracts with their new on like they work in a Supermarket but he basically covering his own backside as he earlier reported that he knew there was a summit and nobody signing. 
His stories are no better than half the kids pretending to be agents on twitter. Might boost his followers though.

Looking forward to @David giving us his report. From what I’ve read and listened to this morning, everything revolves around us coming to an agreement with the EFL. The takeover should then happen and the squad can be overhauled. We may have to rely on loans until the next window, but the academy graduates are going to get some much needed playing time and I hope Sibbo is player of the season.
From my perspective I’m backing Mel to get things sorted, he obviously wants a resolution asap.
Not being sexist, but a lot of k******* wetting going on this morning, get a grip and enjoy seeing the academy lads give it everything v Udders.

I agree with Mel’s academy comments and although I appreciate I’m in the minority I would rather watch Cashin develop than Wisdom make his customary howlers, see Bird kick on rather than have another Butterfield at 4m and give Ebosele a go instead of Anya at a combined cost of approaching 10m (fees and wages).

A combination of alcohol and vitriolic social media giving yobs carte blanche to do as they please.

I will support the team regardless of anything 
the club situation will sort itself out but we have no control over that and can’t speed it up 
the youngsters will need some serious support this season and hopefully we can actually bring in Davies and Jagelka to help with that whilst Forsyth and Shinnie have some serious grand parenting to do on the pitch.

It is tedious and disheartening to read gratuitous, derogatory comments about David, or vapid assertions about the other meeting attendees being 'smug ITKs', or whatever. 
The guys & gals that attend SCGs aren't just hooked off the street by a Pride Park bouncer; a lot of hours and miles are put in by them, voluntarily, within the fanbase. Remember they love the club, too. 
I'm sure they are broadly representative, be they a forum rep, supporter club member, or 'minority / BAME' group, heritage, governance interest group, or so on - they do have the respect of the club, so we should accord similar respect to fellow fans. 
They are not beholden to 'spill the beans' and pile onto social media at anyone's beck & call, in an instant; the club requires discretion and accuracy from them, having been entrusted with sensitive information. 
The focus for us fans is surely to pull together, to be supportive  of the lads on the pitch; be defiant, in this adversity, for the players and the club? 
Make a noise of Saturday, chant player's names, not just crude anti-EFL songs (yes - I hate them too, y'know!) Channel your energy into helping the team through what we expect to be bl 00dy tough games.
There's a convoluted tangle around just about everything connected with the club - we wish it were sorted but it isn't.
Blaming and trashing all connected - and your own fan groups, isn't actually helpful IMHO.
Rant over: feel free to target me, though I'm afraid it won't solve a thing :-o

Coming onto the Forum the morning after a win, hoping to catch an echo of the feel good factor from the previous day, only to find the negative moaners have rushed back in overnight to spread their doom and gloom and smother any lingering optimism!

They do it ALL the time. 
I have played football for 40+ years and don't recall ever needing to spit on the pitch. 
My kids now copy the bizaare 'get a bottle of water and kinda squirt it half in your mouth and half straight on the floor before gobbing out the rest' thing.. Why?? 
In the Sheff United game, a player came on as they got a free kick and he jogged over to take it and he flobbed a massive golly on the pitch. Just don't get it. Absolutely vile. 

4x4s lights are the worst, Mega bright and about a foot higher than car lights. 

When did car headlights get so bright? Feel like the past couple of years I’m getting dazzled every few minutes.
Also where has the obsession for people having their full beams on until after you’ve turned a corner.
