Technically, we've signed Blackett-Taylor.
Bristol City, Cardiff, Hull, Leeds, Luton, Millwall, Preston, Sheff Utd, Swansea, and West Brom still haven't signed anyone (10 in total). 6 other clubs have only signed 1 player, with 3 clubs signing 2.

This is the market that free agents have at this level, by all accounts Oxford were going to make him their highest earner (Brannagan is on £15k per week), so he’s going to be on a very decent wedge for a very long time due to a good three months he’s got an extremely good contract. Before February this year, he hadn’t scored in a year and a half of League One football which is absolutely staggering considering how bad the standard is.

I was listening to the Rest is Football the other day and David Moyes and Alan Shearer were talking about being on the same managerial course a while ago. 
Moyes would have already been in management a decade at that point. There are lots of courses to do and managers don't have an awful lot of spare time.

It’s well known that we’d agreed a loan deal for a striker on deadline day and his parent club cancelled it as their own signing fell through.  I think Stephen Pearce mentioned it in his RD interview.  The deal was cancelled at something like 6pm, maybe later, so too late to sort something else out.
He wasn’t wrong or off target.  He was correct when he posted and it was circumstances outside of the clubs control that led to it being cancelled.
