What an absolute donk!  You'll bloody kill yersen!   ?

I'll do the easy bit... for every 10k you run, I'll put a fiver to one side.  At the end of the season... IF you are still alive... I'll split it 50/50 to each of your chosen charities.
Oh... and I think you need to sort out your gofundme link in the OP... The one you have put in is just going to a log in page.

    ??

Oops... EDIT... At the end of the calendar year, 2021!

Irrevocably linked to that night at Elland Road. Priceless memories.

    I have no idea.
Anyway the problem would remain, whether it's first contact or the end of contact. We'd still be looking for that exact millisecond where the event occurred.
In the real football world, the linesman needs to use a combination of vision (and peripheral vision) and sound to make the judgement. That leaves a span of time, albeit small, for them to judge whether the movement by the forward and the movement by the defender (often in opposite directions) left the forward in an offside position. A margin of error accepted by the spirit of the offside law as it is designed to be enacted by humans - but not accepted by TV pundits, fans or VAR.
Something has to give. If nothing else, Law 5 (The referee) will need to be changed. Phrases like 'the referee has full authority', 'based on the opinion of the referee' and 'the decisions of the referee...are final' don't seem to have a future in our VAR world.

    It's billisecond.
Google has it as "One billionth of a second", but legend has it that it actually derives from Billy Whizz, the fastest schoolboy in history.
    So now you know!

Either way, your neighbours will clearly think it was you who dobbed them in, seeing as the Rozzers came to take your statement before knocking on their door!
Hey... don't shoot the messenger, but that's how it will look from their window!
Maybe sleep with one eye open, for the next few nights?

Where I work it seems to be the second option in your post. Maybe it’s because I’m old now and pretty much stuck in my ways but where I come from if a working class lady marries a working class man she takes his surname, been like that for centuries.
This fad of having a double barrelled name is a classic example of wanting your cake and eating it. If my wife suggested keeping her name and adding it to mine she would have got short shrift and if she dished out any ultimatums there would have been no wedding. Besides, Shagwell is a perfectly good name and she’s used to it now.

    Define "immediately".
If they were to achieve that within the first week, maybe two, my guess is they would be hailed as heroes.  But can you really see that as being a realistic outcome?  For whatever reasons, over the past 8 months, the current ownership/staff have failed to not only arrange the refunds, but also to keep the fans updated.
Hey... I've absolutely no idea what's happening... It could prove to be as much... if not more... the banks holding things up rather than the club itself?  Although I'd assume the club would have been a lot more communicative, had that been the case!
The new owners would need to be extremely rooster-sure of themselves to come in and sort it "immediately".  It's already extremely messy, and at least some of the peasants are already revolting!  Why would the new owners put themselves in a position to be shot down in flames before they've even had chance to sort out their new tea rota, or picked the swishest office chairs?
For clarity, it's the process I'm referring to, not the cost.  No doubt the selling price would be reflected by whoever pays the refunds?

Eight months is clearly not acceptable, certainly without more communication.  The only statement I'm aware of appears to have been 100% incorrect/downright lies.
And on top of all that, not only are folk still waiting for refunds, some are still having monthly DDs taken out.  That's downright robbery in my book!
I'm just glad it doesn't affect me.  I'm owed nothing more than the credit, which is building up as each 20/21 home game passes by unattended.  I'm more than happy for that credit to be transferred to 21/22, so I'm alright Jack, as they say.  Doesn't stop me being disappointed in DCFC on this occasion though, I'm sad to say.

"... a car".  "...then going out and buying a car".
That would have been far more accurate, in this particular analogy.

    Taxi drivers,
Make life a lot simpler for yourself whilst waiting for your next fare to be radioed through, by simply parking up directly opposite a T junction, thus making it easy for yourself to shoot off in either of the 3 available directions, once that call does come through.
Don't concern yourself with how that might affect others trying to pass, or pull out from the T Junction.  We really don't mind.
...And after all, The Highway Code is for amateurs anyway, right?

FINALLY succeeding in teaching my little one to ride her bike, last weekend. What a bloomin struggle it's been but it suddenly just clicked & off she went, like she'd been doing it for ages. The little bugger.
