Folk are funny aren't they Kev? If the last few years of EFL intercessions taught us anything it's that their assistance is absolutely the superhighway to a sustainable future. I fully agree that Quantuma really should make room in their Holborn HQ for Rick and Trev to hotdesk daily if required. I mean look at the speed with which they sanctioned us in the first place. Only three years after the event. Then the 2 years it took them to find a few blokes who actually thought we'd done something wrong. Then the blinding rapidity of their dealing with Gibbo and Cowpig's grievances.
How anyone could doubt that they'd soon have this mess sorted is utterly beyond me.

First and foremost... sorry to read that buddy, and more sorry that I seemed to have played my part!

I know where you're coming from, and I must admit, I generally tend to merely skip through the negativity.  It's not in my nature, as I suspect neither is it in yours.

For my part, I guess I've been drinking the devils advocaat a little this morning, and commenting based on other peoples comments, rather than my own thoughts/opinions.  I certainly don't have a problem with renewing (in the usual manner... up front) if and when the bloody things go on sale, but I'm not ignorant enough to not realise some are not in as fortunate position as myself, and some will have to cut their cloth more, and take less risks!

I hope you are right about the assurances to fans... for others, more than myself.  If I lose my little stake, I'm lucky enough just to shrug it off, utter the word "meh", and find me another weekend hobby!

    Stay strong, bro.  ?

Could they not sell Season tickets under a monthly subscription/DD type thing?
Or maybe Instead of £400/£500 (whatever) lump sum, You keep your DCFC ticket fund account topped up enough to cover (as a minimum) the (broken down) cost of the next game, thus keeping your ST activated and usable.
If your payment doesn't go through/you fail to top up your account for any reason, the ST card gets deactivated before the next game?

I have money in a Dartcharge account, that takes out £2 every time I cross the Dartford crossing.  No crossing, no charge.
I also have an ATMB account linked directly to my credit card, which charges said card when I use the Toll sections of the French Autoroutes.  No use, no charge.

Surely there must be a way we can pledge, without having to hand over a season's worth of ticket money in advance?  ?‍♂️

*Not sure why I put that... I guess maybe for the majority, who have concerns about renewing... as I currently plan to risk it, and renew as normal, if and when they go on sale.
  9. Cheers

That's all well and good for the finance bods.
But what about the individuals?  The fans?
A number of them (on here and elsewhere) appear to be concerned about paying in full up front, only for the club to shut down part way through, and said individual/fan going straight to the foot of the ever-lengthening queue of creditors.  Even those using credit cards may not be covered by the card company, under the circumstances.  (I honestly don't know... check with your card issuer, folks!)

I am getting out of here Mucker; the negativity of far too many is getting me down, indeed beginning to boil my piss. Q will make season tickets available with some assurance of fan protection I am certain of that.
    Up the Rams!

My interpretation is that’s the reason Q are looking to secure funding for the season, that way there is a guarantee of at least one more full season of DCFC meaning those fans who can and want to are able to buy their season ticket with confidence.
There is however the small issue of the season finishing AFTER March 2023 which according to the EFL’s rules is the cut off point for the 18 months the clan can be in administration. Perhaps we’ll benefit from some of that famed EFL favour/flexibility fans of other clubs seem so sure we’ve already had on that particular point ?

You mention Direct Debits.  A good idea in theory, but obviously eliminates the cash flow advantage of season ticket sales.  I would definitely take up such an offer - but funnily enough I think it would be so popular that they would not allow it.  They would have everyone signing up for that deal.

Pootling along the Normandy coastline yesterday on our bikes, and for a brief moment, thought CK was on his way to Blighty with sacks of cash! ?
Turns out it was a swarm of US Airforce bombers doing a (presumably) practice run for the upcoming D Day events.
Very low and literally over head!  Brought a lump to the throat, if truth be told. So many reminders of so much heroism in these parts!  Obvs!  (Our first time to this area).
Got a great front line video, for the holiday album (not that I’m a plane geek or owt!)  Don’t know how to put it in here!Hi

We’ll leave the main 6th June party to the masses though, as we up sticks and head for rural Brittany later this morning.

Having a wonderful holiday so far… thanks to all those who fought and died to allow us such luxuries!

Not a bad idea Mucker. We could pledge to go to games while we are still solvent. Also ,with the energy crisis looming - could we kick off earlier to save using the floodlights. I am being serious.

Even at a lower level (of league), I'd be amazed to see any reduction.  Price freeze is the absolute best we can hope for, certainly for renewals.

... If we ever get to a position to sell any at all, that is!  ?
