Is it just me?  
I'm no language expert, but whenever I see a sentence ending in "ffs", my immediate thought is that the writer perhaps needs to calm down a bit?  ?‍♂️

They now talk to each other via mikes then the lino flags to let the crowd know the decision. 
Effectively the lino is running the decision by the ref but the delay looks like indecision to the crowd. 
I must admit I thought it was a foul straight away last night.

I'd agree with that.
For 30 mins, I'd say we "did ok for an away team against a highly rated home side".  The last 15, not so much, but they are certainly not bombarding our goal.  It's not a case of "They should be x goals ahead by now, if they had taken their chances".
We are currently second best, certainly, but we are well and truly still in this.
