Even though I am trepidatious about our chances against a strong Middlesbrough side, I am super excited about returning to Pride Park tomorrow for our first home league game in the Championship.
It’s what we wanted for two seasons and now that we’re there, we focus on the negatives (and I’m as guilty as anyone else).
Let’s put our doubts behind us and give the team a fantastic welcome tomorrow and give JWZ an idea of what it’s like to join Derby County.

The game has moved along a bit in 27 years.
 So many routines practised now and you can’t have a situation in which the keeper and defender are going for the same ball.

I would say the difference is energy. Tedious actually makes us feel angry and resentful. Boring leaves us listless and uninspired.

Before we slag off the recruitment team too much, we should wait to see if the claims we are interested have any substance.

I’d rather he was good with his hands, given a choice.
We haven’t exactly had Alisson Becker  in terms of ball playing.
As long as he dominates his area and works well with his defence, I don’t care if he hoofs it occasionally.

Yeah, it must be frustrating for PW that he has got us into the promised land of the championship and yet our squad isn’t much stronger than last season.
The keeper is potentially exciting, Goudmijn is like Princess Kate at a car boot sale. 
Ozoh has potential but needs to build his confidence so he’s bossing games, not reacting all the time.
We’re no closer to finding the goal scorer(s) we need and are a bit boring to watch but these things take time.
If we could get Wiredu, Maghoma and Woodrow as speculated, that would certainly help. Still think we need an attacking LB and a clever midfield player to bolster our options.
We shouldn’t be starting with any of Collins, Brown, Washington or Barkhuisen at this level.
Management is tricky! You have to try to bed in new players and sometimes you’ll realise they aren’t as good as you’d hoped. Also, it’s hard to get back the feel good factor of last season when you are leaving out players who have been at the club for a while.
 I hope he gets it right. He deserves to.

Looked quote sharp in his little cameos pre-season. Feel he needs to learn to be stronger on the ball, and he isn't much of a mixer.
Hope he does well and a fresh start at another club is probably what he needs.
