Bit of a shame if you ask me (not that anybody did). Oh well. Players come and players go but when they come through the ranks, are pretty good and leave for a club no bigger or better than us it’s all a bit disappointing.  Oh well.

f*** me give the kid a bit of respect
Stuck by the club when it was properly properly s***, could have done a Buchanon or a Byrne but didnt
Time for him to move on.. No problem with that, he's earned a move. Going to see out the season so that he doesn't leave the club in a tougher spot for the rest of the season and gives some money and time for Clowes to get him replaced, good on him. Best of luck and hope he gets a big pay rise!

Surely any manager who leads any club to a championship and European success and other cups besides would easily constitute legendary status?  These trophies  don’t come around too often and Liverpool hadn’t won the league for 30-off year, so quite an achievement.

Clubs are allowed to have more than one legend too, so giving Klopp that status hardly diminishes the achievements of Paisley, Shankly or Dalgleish!
In any event, hope they get a a manager in with a similar philosophy. Much rather watching Liverpool than the snore-fest that is City.

Funny, you get a load of posts on various threads criticising Warne for not playing academy players and then when people in the know are asked who’s good enough, the answer that we have a few who might be good enough for Non-league, maybe league two or bottom of league one.
I bow to the knowledge of people who see the Academy but doesn’t necessarily sound like there’s a lot coming through who are good enough (assuming of course people consider our 1st team players to be good enough for too if league 1!).  Obviously chucking some of these kids in might be the making of them and we’ll never know if we don’t try them, but I guess Warne is less able to take risks - particularly now we’re in a stone’s throw of automatics (and - as per - making a bit of a pigs ear about it).

Is the bigger question why we don’t seem to have the kids coming through at the moment, or is the obvious answer administration and bigger clubs coming in a nicking all the talent.

Modern day legend for the club.
Modern day, as in the last 20/30 years.
    The club, as in Liverpool.
For a club with such a decorated trophy cabinet, they went an awfully long time without really being a threat to the top clubs.
Klopp has come in and brought domestic and European success, when you see some of the Derby players being labelled legend on this forum, I don’t think calling Klopp a modern day legend for Liverpool is that absurd.

Shame. Really like watching Klopp’s Liverpool. Hope it doesn’t derail their title hopes (anybody but City!!).

People need to get over it. He will have made mistakes, but it's clear to me he also has regrets. Despite that, and still getting abused by fans, he has stuck by the club to make amends. Quantuma felt he was worth keeping around. Clowes has made the decision to keep him as his CEO. Move on.

What’s weird is how relentless you are in pushing this one opinion and agenda over and over again.
We know you don’t rate Bird, others do and are entitled to that opinion, just like you’re entitled to yours….you don’t need to beat everyone over the head with it though.

Was at the game last night , firstly I’d like to say well done to Reading , did a job on us which coupled with the conditions made for a poor night for the Rams, secondly I noticed some of the doomsayers and told you so brigade were out in force on here last night , some of the abuse aimed at the manager and most of the players is quite frankly diabolical, yes it wasn’t good but especially the likes of Cash and Birdy do not deserve the comments aimed at them
Now is the time for cool heads and all our support starting Saturday , yes we miss Nyambe and Fozzy but we have to play the hand we’ve been dealt , I still feel the manager and these players will get us up this season it’s going to be a rollercoaster ride so buckle in , keep the faith and let’s see if I’m right

How can we "loop-hole" the deal if it has to be ratified by the EFL. They would look even more ridiculous than they currently do if they subsequently say they're not satisfied with the terms and then null and void the transfer.

I'm no fan of his by any stretch, but I don't think there was some "I hate Derby and want them gone" style thinking. He just spotted a story/angle with a club that he knows will make headlines and pushed it as hard as he could.
I think he's guilty of being a click chasing leech, not of wanting us to cease to exist.

He signed up to this forum just so he could infiltrate us and create division. He went after Mel Morris which was fair enough but he wanted to destroy Derby and put us out of business. He let his hatred of Mel want to kill our football club.
Absolute b******. Every Derby fan should treat this Bamford as an enemy of our club.

We have won 10 of 13 league games, and lost 1....and that was against a very good team who scored in the last minute.
Hardly surprising some fans get irritated by constant negative comments.
Financially we are on a sound footing, we are trying to make additions and we have a decent bunch of lads working their backsides off.
Yet at the first sign anything may be amiss the toys go out the pram.
We have a decent stadium and a fair amount of fans. But we are a League 1 club,  recruiting on a budget for League 1 players, playing against teams all just as desperate to get out this League. We have no divine right to walk over teams so how about a bit of realism at times instead of constantly looking for things to moan about and maybe there would be a bit more harmony.

Keiron Maguire is a horrible b****** who hates Derby. He was the reason that the mardy Bamford from Middlesbrough threatened the EFL  and forced them to take action against us even though we hadn't broken the rules at that time.
