What does our manager say to the players, or do with them during the week. This is horrific football.

A much better performance that will hopefully push us on. More energy and better use of the ball. Wilson played really well and without fear which was refreshing to see.
However, they were a Lincoln City B team so let’s not get carried away - how an earth did they not latch on to our out ball - Cashin to Wilson every time !
Still I’m taking it as a positive but if Warne doesn’t play the likes of Wilson this weekend or we go back to the turgid crap we have been playing it will further increase the doubt I have about him….

That was so good to see the ball mostly played on the grass, what a difference that made. I would think that the players enjoyed it more as well as the supporters. I hope the manager also enjoyed watching it.

Hmmm! If that was the case (and you are only guessing yourself), I would hope that our current manager was not the only name in front of him. If thoughts of entertaining his 25,000 ish customers is not high up in the chairman’s  thoughts, maybe it should be, because what we are seeing is poor disorganised football.

I am hoping that the Chairman is already putting feelers out to rectify his massive mistake in recruiting Warne and his team; has he got the balls to do it though.

As dreadful as that was, I'll offer some caveats.
We have a lot of people out with Hourihane now added to that.
Barkhuizen, Embleton, Wilson and  Sibley aren't fit enough to start yet. NML has been halfway round the world, therefore our lack of creativity for the first hour wasn't a surprise.
I don't expect a dramatic improvement when more players are fit, but realistically you can only offer the final judgement on Warne this season until he has that opportunity.
I'm not a fan of this football and if it doesn't improve drastically over the next 4 games, I'm officially in the Warne Out camp.

Forsyth, nelson, wags (for trying) and wildsmith only ones to come out with any credit that game.
    Rest are just so poor.
But I'm starting to blame the manager for most of that. He
He had his chance to bring in exciting technical, althletic players and then buys players like elder which don't fit the system he wants to play bizarre

It's just draining isn't it, Clowes needs to act before this season fades into nothing. He didn't hestitate to get rid of Roseiner. Why Warne? It was a clear mistake getting him.

Just watched the first part of the forum.

To say that the U21s game only finished a few hours before the forum and he couldn’t even remember the score line along with not knowing the name of the player who’d just scored a hatrick is disrespectful to all of the academy. The only players he made reference to was his own first team players that played in that game.

The club went bust because the source of working capital decided to stop providing it. I doubt Pearce was able to influence that decision.

Just finished watching the Fans Forum in its entirety on youtube and imho Stephen Pearce spoke very well.  He kinda dodged the final question thrown at him but as he alluded to earlier in the evening, a lot of the finer details remain behind NDAs.
Non of us know how much influence he really had under MM regime, or whether he had the rug pulled from under him at times with MM rash decision making.  All we can go on is DC trust in him and how the club has been building since exiting administration - and off the pitch, we've been doing really well.  Thats good enough for me.
I thought the evening as a whole was a very enjoyable watch.  It won't calm the fears of those anti PW, but to me at least, everyone spoke from the same hymn sheet and of building towards success.  Hopefully success will come this season as we hit our stride, but if not the groundwork is being laid for the future.
Hopefully we can all get behind PW and the team and stop overreacting to every bump in the road.

I've said it before, I'll say it again.
Stephen Pearce was CEO in name. But his employer, Mel Morris, ran the show. I highly doubt Pearce had any option but to follow what Morris wanted. That's not to say he didn't make mistakes, of course, but we all know Morris was too hands on and ruled EVERYTHING.
Since then, I have no doubt he is under NDA. He will not be allowed to discuss any aspect of his employment by Mel Morris, even if he wanted to.
Instead, take note of people still in the club, who seem to have possibly even more respect for him through and following administration than they did before, and our new owner, a lifelong fan, who if he felt wasnt right for the job, could and can get rid at any point.
    Time to move on imo.

Having been Twitter clean for over a month now, I haven't seen any of the tweets regarding the forum, only glanced at those posted on this forum.
I think it's fair to say that once the footage does come out, any opinions that have already expressed on what has and hasn't been said in this thread will remain unchanged.
Reason being, opinions have been formed and fully entrenched now where only a decent run of results will soften or run of bad results flip.
It's already been seen in this thread with accusations back and fourth over comments taken out of context, misquoted and general bickering back and fourth.
Reason being, the content being shared will have the authors own half full or half empty slant on things.
I will follow @Owen87ITK great advice, wait, watch it myself and probably not engage in this particular topic as it would be a monumental waste of time.
Sooner Saturday rolls around and we have a game of football to discuss the better, I will be watching from Sunny Spain sipping on a Pina Colada, win or lose I will not be logging on here 😂
