One mans vanity project has gone badly wrong, someone close has told me the arrogance and unwillingness to listen to people is the reason why DCFC is in the mess we are in.

Mel, Best interests? Well that turned out well. How can you possibly think that still. If this was a foreigner in the same situation I doubt anybody would say that.

That statement blamed everyone and everything apart from the 1 person who is ultimately responsible and that's Mel Morris. He's led us down this path with his dodgy accounting methods, overspending and egotripping to the point he's killed the club. Surprised that statement didn't blame a casino as he put all his money on black at roulette and lost or blamed us for not buying enough tickets.
He's an utter coward who still can't take responsibility for the absolute mess he's left us in.

But all the rule says is: the EFL can offer a sanction, a club can accept it, and it needs to be rubber stamped by a panel. It’s just a framework. We can see from what’s going on with us that it’s quite open to a club to negotiate the EFL’s offer, and to make a counter offer. Seems a pretty sensible rule.

they want an agreement so this can be ended, partly, at least, it is a matter of interpretation of rules. Mel may be quite happy for an embargo to continue so that the stop to further costs is not down to him. Who knows, not one of us

covid P&S rules mean that his sort of stuff has been kicked 12 months down the road. I don't share your view that our competitors have so much sympathy for our predicament that they will get involved. We are just a club that they hope will take up one of the relegation spots
