Sibley needs a god run of games. He’s probably in his own head adding extra pressure to himself thinking he needs to impress and won’t have long to do so before being dropped again. 

If given time I’m sure he’ll come good.

Hughes had about 4 million appearances by the time he was Sibley's age. Maybe sibs would have also kicked on more had he been given the freedom to make mistakes and learn like Hughes had.

Horrible to see Hourihane take the brunt of the frustrations, hopefully he knows it isn’t personally aimed at him. 

Problem is though that we have a lot of players that proven at championship level, Bird, Sibley, Hourihane, Cashin, Nelson, Elder, Smith, Waghorn, Barks, Laing, Forsyth, Bradley, Washington, Thompson, Nyambe. 

I’m not saying we should be winning every game but we should be looking far more competitive then we currently are. 

Problem is though that we have a lot of players that proven at championship level, Bird, Sibley, Hourihane, Cashin, Nelson, Elder, Smith, Waghorn, Barks, Laing, Forsyth, Bradley, Washington, Thompson, Nyambe.

The personnel we have right now would suit a 4231 or 433 formation, get a manager that plays that way to avoid having to bring more players in and have an even bigger transitional period.
Carsley would be a good candidate as would Beale. I also have a feeling that Ian Holloway would prove to be a good fit, I don’t know why. 

We need to find an identity as a club, stick to a style of football that the fans enjoy, that’s fed down all the way to youth level and any appointments, players or managers, must meet that style. Would serve us better long term and also help keep cost down.
