On a serious note, we can definitely stay up.
If we are looking at 45 points as a reasonable target, that’s 31 points from 20 games.
Our home form will give us a very good shot. Our immediate rivals Peterborough, Hull, Cardiff and Barnsley all have to come to PP. As well, we also have winnable home games v Birmingham, Preston, Millwall, Coventry and Bristol City.
So much will depend on whether we can improve our away form and pick up a few surprise results to drag ourselves over the line.
This recent run of 4 wins in 5 should have everyone feeling hopeful. Win at Forest and suddenly the impossible starts to look mightily possible.

Disappointed.
An experienced manager would have won this game 3-0.

Absolutely spot on. Simple "what if?" / Risk Analysis. The Admins are paid big money and you'd think they would assess every possible scenario. Not just go to the EFL will 1 proposal when there's a few snake oil salesmen sat around the table.

When seeking loans to keep the club funded in the first instance, surely the admin team should have done everything in their power to secure funds for the rest of the season, in the event something were to go wrong with any takeover process.
And if not in the first instance, surely they should have moved to secure funds once bidders like Kirchner were pulling out and publicly highlighting the messy and complex nature of any potential takeover.
Fair enough if you want to blame the EFL and clubs like Boro and Wycombe for making life difficult. It is deeply unpleasant and there is a sense of it being like lions picking at a zebra’s carcass.
But does this excuse the administrators? It seems to me they are hardly helping themselves with their strategy and decision making, and in truth they seem to be losing their grip on the situation entirely.

That's so annoying, dropped onto this thread to gain an update on whose personal appearance was being ridiculed next and all I got was information about our potential new owners.
Deeply disappointed.

Wasn’t it nice to see so many of their fans run on the pitch. They looked so excited. How many times is it now they have won the FA Cup in January?

Just got home from another great awayday.
Best bit of the day, that header.
Second best bit of the day, the post-match Radio Berks phone in.
Apparently, they were struggling for match fitness after three weeks rest, whereas we are all up to speed after our three easy wins;
Apparently, they have been badly affected by covid, whereas our club has not;
Apparently, they have been decimated by injuries to the extent that they are having to put academy players on the bench - aah! (Whereas we are having to rely on them in the first team, which they forgot to mention!)
Apparently their players aren't championship standard and are all freebies that no-one else would want.
The radio presenters tended not to agree with the above comments and the programme finished with a rerun of their commentary of the game's goals - over a soundtrack of Britney Spears' "Oops, I did it again". Comedy gold!

Our family has never quite been THAT bad!
...But it got to the stage where we either spend an absolute fortune (We're a fairly large family) or exchange one crap gift for another!
So a good while back (must be ten years ago now, if not longer?), despite a reasonably average income, (it was more about the difficulty in buying a suitably desired present, rather than cost, per sé) I made a proposal... no buying for over 18's, between Parents/adult kids, brothers/sisters, uncles/aunts & adult nephews/nieces, and all similar relations.
Spouses, Under 18's, grandkids, pensioner father-in -law etc remained optional and operational! ?
As an alternative, I proposed more hugs (This was pre-covid!), lot's of regular contact/gatherings/visits and such like.
Strictly no cheating! No "Oh, it's just a little something", only for the receiver to then feel poo for not getting them something! ?
There were whelps of relief, tears of joy, cries of "Oh my, you are the greatest brother/uncle/Dad in the wholest,widest world!" (Some of my family don't carry my wordsmithery!) and the proposal was unanimously accepted with immediate effect, and this once strong family grew stronger still!
Try it... thank me next year! ? ?
