AmericanRam
'Clifford' with Charles Grodin and Martin Short. Doesn't have great reviews, but I have watched it tons of times and think its hilarious. Midnight Run with him as is mentioned is good as well. ramit
Doubt many here have seen this one. The Night Porter from 1974 with Dirk Bogarde and Charlotte Rampling. A dark fascinating psychological tale. Critics love it or hate it, mostly the latter, but it's one of my favorites.

LesterRam
Ice Age - Collision Course very underrated film in the ice age franchise, a rather suave and sophisticated plot that see Scrat's pursuit of his elusive acorn catapults him outside of Earth aboard a UFO, a totally different direction for the much acclaimed Director Mike Thurmeier (ET, Godfather trilogy, Shawshank Redemption, Debby does Dallas, Noddy) Blurb shown below: Scrat, trying to bury his acorn, accidentally activates an abandoned alien ship that takes him into deep space, where he unwittingly sends several asteroids en route to a collision with Earth. Meanwhile, Manny is worried about the upcoming marriage between Peaches and her fiancé, Julian. Diego and his wife Shira want to start a family, but their fierce appearance tend to scare kids. Sid is dumped by his girlfriend, Francine, just as he is about to propose to her, and he laments his solitude. During Manny and Ellie's wedding anniversary party, some of the asteroids strike the place and the herd barely escape with their lives. Meanwhile, at the underground cavern, Buck returns a dinosaur egg back to its rightful owner after it was stolen by a trio of dromaeosaurs[8] named Gavin, Gertie, and Roger. Buck discovers an ancient stone pillar and takes it to the surface, where he meets Manny and the others. p.s you don't need subtitles because Tom Hardy isn't in it... WhiteHorseRam
Culloden (1975). Black and white candid account of what went down when the Jacobites were crushed at the battle, social divisions, poverty, all romance stripped out. And here is the complete film -

CWC1983
Life is beautiful - 1997 film with Roberto Benigni. Dont do any research, just watch it and stick with it during the rather strange first 20 mins. I nearly walked out of the cinema, bored, but so glad I stayed to the end.
