Tombo
Didn't ever look like he wanted to be here. Then again, neither did anyone else. Have a feeling he thought this'd be a 'stepping stone' loan. But Patrick Bamford he aint. Cheerio.
Tombo
Of course, having said that, I hope his knee injury isn't too bad. Wish him the best on that one. Being described as a 'significant knee injury' so with our recent history of ACLs I fear the worst for him.

MackworthRamIsGod
I reckon Wilson would have played with Ince and Bent if the Derby injury curse hadn't hit him.
Kennington Ram
I guess we might have been obliged to hold his loan for a certain period of time? Poor guy, I guess alternatively someone forgot about him in one of the treatment rooms and only remembered recently.
VulcanRam
Presume the logistics have something to do with loan rules, transfer windows, when and when you can't terminate an agreement etc, given this has been announced the day after the window shuts when in reality it was over the moment he returned to Man U having suffered the injury months ago. t'oldu
Hope this hasn't cost us a 6 month loan fee and a portion of his wages !!

The wages will be covered by either our insurance or Man U's insurance. That would well be where the delay has come from, sorting insurance. The fee I'm less sure on could be in part covered. But between nearly a season of Wilson's wages, nearly a season of Fozzy's wages and a season of Thorne's wages all refunded should be a boost towards FFP or next season budget. Very reassuring. Does insurance cover all medical bills as well??

Not great for the no claims bonus though. I bet the premiums for this magical insurance are nightmarish in themselves.

I would imagine trying to insure George Thorne at this point would be like trying to insure your cat after it has already been hit by a lorry.
