It's nearly beneath me to post what you said SideShow..but not quite

Hope it hasn't spoilt your day too much. Nigel Clough is the manager of this team you know. Oops

I really need to grow up....

It hasnt spoilt my day, I am glad we won.

What spoils my day is that the idiot manager is still there.

Wasnt the best game to be honest, but what do you expect.

Why can't you give credit where it is due? If we win, lose or draw the manager has to take responsibility. Or am I just being sensible and not got blinkered glasses on, either for or against the manager, his backroom team, players and board.

"Tinpot team" has beated Dirty Leeds six times out of six. What does that make Leeds; if we are a pot of tin, Leeds are a crock of ****.

Dont tell the relatives but beating Dirty Leeds is my best Christmas present.

Had a superb day at Pride Park. All players played very well today though thought Barker and Ward were the stand out players.

Good to see Frankie back to form as welll and like the way the players are supporting each other better as well

Brilliant atmosphere with our fans finding a voice for the first time in a few games as well. Long may it continue

Just seen Robbie Savage has sent an image of the score board to Chris Moyles 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' /> He tweeted over Christmas day whether to come to Derby or Man U with his kids. He certainly chose the right game

Agree with Barker and Ward but Callum Ball looks a good player and his form looks sustainable, Roberts and Brayford were also excellent.

If we could find 2 midfielders with quality especially on the right we could start to look a decent team. Green was dire, Bryson invisible and Bailey average as usual, this was the area we were second best today and Leeds were not fantastic there either. Did somebody say Bailey was MOM today, who makes these awards.

Fielding - 8 - fantastic today, much more an assured performance, especially that save, proves he is could be one of the top keepers in the division through magic like that.

Roberts - 7 - kept the most dangerous winger in the league relatively quiet, good performance.

Barker - 9 - my man of the match, dominated the leeds strikers and muted any effect they had on/in the box, they had to go deep to have any sort of luck

Shackell - 7 - a good performance and the patnership looked strong, very strong at the back

Brayford - 8 - a great performance, showed how good he can be, had a blinder..

Ward - 8 - looked dangerous, always does but he got good balls into the box and more importantly the goal.

Bailey - 7 - had a great game, was a bit bemused by the MOTM but certainly showed class and willing

Bryson - 7 - looked busy, always making options and putting himself about

Green - 6 - had some good bits, but didn't threaten as much as I'd of liked on the right hand side.

Tyson - 8 - showed that he does have the ability to match his speed, thought he was going to brake down but certainly a quality player there...

Ball - 8 - by far and wide his best game for us, as the game went on he got more accomplished, he's touch downs in the second half were Hulse/Kuqi/Howard quality.

Overall - A cracking performance, dominated from start to finish, anything other than 3 points would of been unjust.. and leeds nearly got their luck in.

I'm excited for the second half of the season, lets have a real go at it!!

I wasn't surprised by bailey being MOTM, thought we was superb, got stuck in some hard tackles. Bailey, Frankie, Barker and Ward all but in Performances that did warrant the MOTM.

Yeah, he was a right kn*b 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I think he left his cards in the changing room for the first half.

MOM for me goes to Frank cos if he hadn't have hit form today, it would have been at least 3 to them.

On the whole, a great team performance. Well done lads.

Barker played very well, he seemed to win everything in the air, and if he didn't Shakell was there to head away as well. Agree about Ball he certainly put himself about and is not afraid to knock defenders over. Cloughie said this is the team he wanted to field at the start of the season so finally he gets his own team playing and they certainly came good. Although I do agree about the midfield. It could do with a bit of strength in their. Certainly not complaining though

Gareth Roberts had a tough test. Passed with flying colours. Though Green and Bryson could of used the ball better at times.

Bailey I thought was excellent. Usually so composed and a delicate technical player, today he was hard as nails and really busy.

The back 5. Bloody brilliant.

the fans choose MOM by texting in. Bailey sounded like he had a good game (on the radio but you might disagree as it was mr bloomfield 'http://www.dcfcfans.co.uk/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />) some crunching tackles and lovely passes. Tyson sounded like started the game very well and put some good crosses in and could have got a couple of goals. Obviously only by the sounds of it.

Fielding 8 - His save from the corner was going in, i was right behind it, and I though '**** this is it' but somehow kept it out, i immense

Brayford 8 - Attacked very well, and defended very well, tackled hard and won header, and all round good performance

Barker 9 - Won every header, and lead the line very well, my MOTM

Shackell 8 - Very composed on the ball, the guy is class

Roberts 8 - Definitely one of the best performances he's had in a derby shirt, kept a great championship player in Snodgrass quiet.

Green 6 - Our weak link, but still didn't play that bad, his energy was great, an improvement on Ben 'the dead ball specialist' Davies

Bailey 8 - Best pass of the season when he sent it 50 yards from our box onto a through ball onto Tyson, to create a one one one situation

Bryson 8 - Great energy and pressured well

Ward 9 - Constant threat grabbed the goal, and created chances gave their right hand side a torrent time, and even defended admirably

Ball 7 - Held the ball up well, and with more experience will get even better. Next Steve Howard. Think he needs to learn how to jump under pressure though.

Tyson 8 - Good debut, and look forward to seeing more of him in the future *touch wood*

Robinson 5 - Could have maybe got another goal if his control was tighter and was more aware of the space around him#

O'Brien - Not enough time

I do disagree he worked hard and he did hit one very good ball to Ward in the first half but the main memory I had of Bailey in this match was a simple ball he had to put Tyson clean through right at the start of the second-half that he overhit. He played OK overall but we never really dominated in the centre and my feeling we were at times in danger of been totally over-run in there. The best midfielder on view was the Leeds no 15, he displayed some good movement and quality on the ball.

Perhaps those people who text are mainly those who listen to Bloomfield on the radio. I would advise them take no notice he has said he has never played, Roger likes to stay mates with the players so his comments need to be taken with this in mind.

Why when you are watching a tense, tight, important match would you make such a text. The Bailey MOM today when there were such outstanding performances from at least 4 colleagues was ludicrous, good of you to shed some light on a possible reason.

Have you ever played as a professional footballer?

If not I will ignore your advice.

The back 5 were excellent today. I think, like his Dad, Nigel likes to build from the back. If these 5 had been fit more often we'd be much higher up the table. The injuries in front of him may have affected Fielding but with them all there he played excellently.

maybe your memory is failing you at your age, cos I do remember Bailey getting stuck in, he kept the ball moving and I posted earlier he as well as Fielding , Barker and Ward all had good shouts on being MOTM, do radio Derby broadcast the txt number to txt for MOTM?
