Half-marks allowed; please rate all subs. Closes Thursday @ 18:00. Results by Thursday 22:00. Average is 6.00. Therefore, when a sub steps on the pitch he is on 6 -that'sthe baseline. Also indicate ATG (at the game) Or Tv.

1Wildsmith - 6.5 - generally switched on and distribution ok; no major saves to make

23Ward - 7- steady, competed well; service mostly decent

7Barkhuizen - 6.5 - can't argue with reducing his game time and he'll never get an easier goal than the one he was gifted today. Hope it gives him a boost and improves his form!

35Nelson - 7.5 - solid as a rock

6Cashin - 6.5 - a bit on-and-off it today

3Forsyth - 7 - competitive and linked up well; took decisive action once or twice to clear his lines

4Hourihane - 6 - apart from one very good ball through to Collins, was nothing special; another silly booking and gave the ball away too often

22Fornah - 6 - steady in the time he had

2Wilson - 6.5 - tried to make things happen. Wriggled out of a space to give the ball to Sibley and watch him work his magic

17Sibley - 7 - probably a 6.5 performance but cracking strike for the goal

5Bradley - 6.5 - steady when he (predictably) came on for the last 15-20!

8Bird - 6.5 - not up there with some of his recent performances but good industry once again

11Méndez-Laing - 7 - thought he had a very average first half but was a menace in the second, including a goal and about 95% of another goal!

39Brown - 6 - looked smart in his kit; boot laces tied correctly and ran about for 4 minutes

9Collins - 6 - effort and link-up play = 7; finishing = 5 (or lower). Call it a 6 then

19John-Jules - 6 - looked lively and more useful game time as part of Operation Cotton Wool

1 Wildsmith 6……good job that lino flagged!

23 Ward 6…….Better going forward than defensively 

35 Nelson 7……great defensively, quite a bit of long ball rubbish

6 Cashin 7…….see comment for Nelson

3 Forsyth 7……..good game, looked like a bit of an air shot from (Sibley’s?) cross first half when a yard out for a deserved goal

4 Hourihane 6.5…..did ok. Silly card meant a bit of necessary jibbing of tackles

2 Wilson 7…….good game. He’s massively improved his composure when he’s assisting…..if he could improve it when he has a sniff of goal he’d possibly be really, really good 

17 Sibley 7…….good game all round 

8 Bird 6…..grew into game after a very quiet start

11 Méndez-Laing 8…..mr accuracy. Makes such a difference when someone can put chances on a plate for teammates 

9 Collins 6.5…….Missed a sitter…..but hasn’t missed a match, hasn’t jibbed a challenge or failed to give 100%. 

39 Brown 6

19 John-Jules 6………looking good. Sniffed out 2 chances……great sub to put on against tired defenders. Is he ready to start?

7 Barkhuizen 6…….really pleased he got a goal

22 Fornah 6

5 Bradley 6……one bobbly back pass that ended up with Cashin in a bit of bother but OK. Good to see him sprinting up field to try and get a goal on the break. 

Decent overall performance. Couldn’t understand some of the long ball stuff when they were down to 10…..but still a better mix of long ball and playing through midfield than a couple of months ago.

23Ward: 6 Lovely dead balls and a well-saved free-kick.

7 Barkhuizen 6: needs a good game to get him out of his dip.

35Nelson: 7.5 Defensive record is joint top. 

6Cashin: 7.5 Defensive record is joint top.

3Forsyth: 7.5 Defensive record is joint top.

4Hourihane 8.0 3 killer passes; 2 through the eye of the needle for Collo and the assist for NML. 

22Fornah 6.0 Late sentry duty. 

2Wilson 7.0 Delightful to watch. Amongst the architects of 2 goals.

17Sibley 7.5 Purely for that first goal which stamped the book of the subsequent victory. 

5Bradley 6.0 Late sentry duty.

8Bird 6.5 Quietly effective with reverse passes and gaining repossession.

11Méndez-Laing 8.5 Motm Pace power panic-maker 

39Brown 6.0 Late legs

9Collins 6.0 2 glaring fails to score. 

19John-Jules 6.0 Could’ve hit the 4th but for a good save by their GK.

Winning habit being acquired but isn’t consolidated until we make it 6 on the spin. Hopefully we won’t be left exposed by the January window.

1Wildsmith - 6 did what he had to, looked a bit shaky off a cross or two. Very lucky that orient goal was given offside 

23Ward - 6.5 looked good on the ball and a few good set pieces, we got exposed down his side defensively a few times though.

7Barkhuizen - 7 looked good when he came on and happy for him he’s got a goal for confidence 

35Nelson - 7 was good again yesterday in a scrappy first half

6Cashin - 7 solid as usual 

3Forsyth - 7 dealt with his man well and was good on the ball 

4Hourihane - 7.5 his best game since burton away. 

22Fornah - 6 didn’t do much when he came on but nothing wrong 

2Wilson - 7.5 big part in 2 goals, causes defences trouble every time he plays 

17Sibley - 7 his decision making let him down a few times but looked better yesterday, and a great finish 

5Bradley - 6 not much to rate 

8Bird - 6.5 was quiet yesterday 

11Méndez-Laing - 8.5 was unlucky not to have 3 assists, what a player he is. Gets another goal for himself aswell

39Brown - 6 wish he got more minutes 

9Collins - 6 was average yesterday 

19John-Jules - 6 looked bright again and was unlucky not to score because of a great save

7 Barkhuizen - 6.5 Will be popping Nate on his Christmas card list, so badly did he need a goal. Confidence boost perhaps? I hope so as he's a decent squad player when on it and he's not been for a little while now

35Nelson - 7.5 Loving our defence right now and this lad is a hefty part of the reason why

6Cashin - 6.5 not his best game, but tidy enough

3Forsyth - 7.0 Man crush

4Hourihane - 8.0 Best game in a while. When you see him passing the ball the way he did yesterday, you wonder why he doesn't do it more often, but with the team committing more players forward, perhaps he'll prosper

22Fornah - 6.5 - Solid enough cameo

2Wilson - 8.0 - He and Nate the standouts for me. Close control to die for and he gets folk on their feet every time he runs at a player. A cracking signing.

17Sibley - 7.0 - Quietly effective, but that goal! Has to deliver consistency but perhaps netting will give him the confidence to do so. He's a very talented lad.

5Bradley - 6.5 - See 'Fornah'

8Bird - 7.0 Lad's a Rolls Royce. Not his strongest outing, but some of his passing was excellent and he looks in prime form

11Méndez-Laing - 9.0 the heartbeat of the side right now. Takes the ball on the turn and looks to trouble defenders every time. Putting Barks in for goal when he'd likely have netted himself shows he's very much about the team and he's in the form of his life right now.

39Brown - 6.5 - Got a run out but little chance to shine. Was busting a gut to get forward though so he gets a half over the median from me

9Collins - 5.5 Horrid day for Collo. Missed a couple that were easier to score, then took a nasty cheap shot right in the face. Worked very hard, but this was an outing to forget in all other regards.

19John-Jules - 6.5 Very unlucky not to maintain his super-sub streak. This lad brings some real pace to side and seems to strike the ball sweetly with almost no back lift. I think he'll score plenty in this league assuming we keep hold of him.

Warne Watch: Another good day at the office. On another day, we might well have conceded, but generally speaking, he has sorted out a defence that looked quite porous and we're also now seeing some style and understanding from the attacking players. I also think this is probably the fittest Derby side I've seen in yonks. Six players charging up the pitch with only minutes to go and the game already well won is really quite noteworthy.
