So, you've got a Time Machine and yet you go back to the 70s to drink Woodpecker Cider and Tartan Bitter. Now that is sad! uttoxram75

I never realised he was your dad. Indeed. I can remember the guy you mean although not his name. He was an acquaintance of my dads but not a close friend I don't think. I remember him, but not like I do Ron Webster, Harry Brown, Earnie Hallam and some others who were regulars at our house.

He looks a bit like Amos from Emmerdale. I also knew the chap next to your dad but couldn't recall his name. Bill Clarke at the front I knew very well as he worked for Derby City Council when i was there

Ernie "Mr Ramaway" Hallam, he used to run a pub quiz night at the Sportsman's Club, where we played dominoes etc. He ran it with his friend Phil but i can't remember his surname (age I guess) Edited January 14, 2023 by oldtimeram Addition and edit

oldtimeram
Bob Here's a pic of me wearing a hideous velvet suit with Roy. Directly behind me is your mate Ron Webster but I doubt you can tell from this pic. It was taken at the Mayor's reception after we won the league in 1975. Do you recognise any of the others on the photo? SKRam and Bob The Badger
