Half-marks allowed; please rate all subs. Closes Friday @ 18:00. Results by Monday @ 22:00. Average is 6.00. Therefore, when a sub steps on the pitch he is on 6 - that's the baseline.

Wildsmith - 8.5 MotM Stout performance; kept us in the game with 3 saves

Smith - 7 Playing out of position for the team & doing the job

Rooney - 6 Late substitution; I think he will have an impact this season.

Cashin - 7.5 Near flawless display but a mid-control allowed Liverpool in.

Forsyth - 7.0 Another sound centre-half showing 

Roberts - 7.5 Strong with flair and an eye for a good pass

Sibley - 7 Strong showing; closed them down well

Bird - 6.5 Need more from Capt Bird & needs to take chances better

Mendez-Laing - 7.5 Did lots of defensive work 

Knight - 6 late sub

Hourihane - 6 Needs to have more presence & impact

Osula - 6.5 worked hard

Dobbin - 6 Needs to improve his chance-taking ratio

Collins - 6 Worked hard for the team

McGoldrick - 7 Lively & could’ve scored with a header

Tommo - 6.0 Workmanlike late sub

?Apologies @angieram No hangover but did do the ratings on the way back in the mini-bus when the drink was probably still impacting. 
Great day out and saw the wreath-laying pictures which I found emotional and moving. How about a post about that as a separate entity? My sons come to matches and I shudder to think “what if…”. I think it is worthy of an item explaining why.
