Jordon Ibe

Think the love of football has gone to be honest. Think he came to Derby genuinely believing he could turn things around but whilst I hear he's in a better place now than was the case, it seems football is a trigger and not a cure.

Of course it's another kick in the balls for the club but more so for Jordon I suspect. Had he returned to form, we'd be hailing his recruitment as a masterstroke and when in his first competitive outing back for the U23's, he took a pass. swivelled and curled it straight into the top corner, it looked like it might just happen. Alas not.

Easy to pour scorn on him and the club and at times I've myself felt frustrated with the whole affair, but now all is said and done, I'll simply wish him well for the future, whatever that may bring. He's had a grim time of it for a fair old while now so perhaps rather than seeking another club, some time away from the game altogether might be the best option.
