Maybe that's because we massively overspent for the player? Something which has happened frequently over recent years and is one of the main reasons why we're in this mess.

Yes, seemed significantly overpriced at the time. Even by our standards!

Rooney's interview indicates altercation with someone he doesn't get on with on the training ground then before the Stoke match.  Any black eyes spotted-not including Clarke who seems to have permanent thumps to the eye.

Well usually there's lots of videos of the training sessions with all the players smiling. Let's hope they post this one ?

Is this true or an April Fool? But anyway I think we know the outcome of letting Waghorn know he's dropped.

Shows a good attitude, plays well, gets injured.....

It's just so us this season.

Radioactivewaste that could well be Waghorn's last game for us if not offered a new contract or he turns down a new contract.

Hope so. There must be cheaper more skilful options than jolly old cement feet Waghorn.

I know, it really sucks. He has had a poor season and if he is offered new terms, it's likely much much reduced to what he had before. I think he'll probably leave and that may well be his last game for us.

He's better than what he's shown this season, but, it's still a really crappy way for his time here to end.
