Millenniumram
You know what, I’m feeling optimistic. I reckon we might find a Derby player with one of our 200 crosses on Wednesday night.

Only we couldn't. That's where we needed a bit more mobility and bravery....force them back and stop them taking such diabolical liberties on our home turf....? Minute by minute positioning of Forest when we're in possession up until the goal.. 1-2: Forest initially have 6 players in our half (as they just lost the ball). Derby pass it around the back and Forest regain their shape - 4 players in our half with Sow occasionally stepping up. 2-3: 3 Forest players stand on the half way line when our defence has the ball. Long ball from Clarke gives possession away in their half. Derby win it back and quickly progress up the pitch with Forest chasing back. A ball from Knight almost finds Sibley down the line level with their box before a foul is committed. 3-4: Forest have 6 players in our half in readiness for the hoof down field from a FK. After a bit of head tennis, Rooney's loose pass is picked up by one of the Forest players still in our half from the head tennis. We regain possession but as Forest only just lost the ball, they still have 6 players in our half. We try to play out but lose it when no FK is awarded for a small clip on Martin. They still have their players in our half at this point. Holmes intercepts a loose pass on the halfway line, with Forest doing their best to get back. 4-5: We pass it round the back with 5 Forest players camped just beyond the edge of the center circle. 6-7: Derby pass it around the back - Grabban on the edge of the center circle, with 4 others on half way. We progress to half way - Grabban drops that far back with 3/4 other players just behind the half way mark. 8-9: We pass it around in defence with 3 Forest players on the half way line and another 3 just beyond the center circle. We push up to halfway with Forest dropping just about in to their half. We cheaply give it away. Rooney tries to play Martin in behind but Martin gives away a FK instead. We then don't touch the ball until it hits the back of the net. For the next 10 mins they continue in a similar manner. When we have the ball in defence, Grabban's on the edge of the centre circle, with 4 others on the half way line. They push up slightly when we're deeper. But after the first water break they hardly left their own half with us passing freely high up the pitch. However, we then opted not to make the risky pass and rarely took a man on - instead turning round and passing to someone much deeper. We were very wasteful when in possession high up the field. In summary, Forest may have started with 5/6 in our half (only just)but they opted to be very compact and strangled our midfield. I'm fairly certain West Brom will opt to press high and leave larger gaps for us to play in to as a result.

I’m concerned about their physical power and fear we may implode.
