,it’s real sport ,the football is vastly improved with the heady mix of passion and no fan ever turns up or tunes in to a forgone conclusion , how long before it is recognised as the real heart and soul of English football and everything that made it great to support

Apart from when us saps still turned up for Ipswich at home while mick McCarthy was in charge, knowing damn well they’d rob us from a corner

Its certainly a great league because it is so competitive and good quality apart from the bottom six.

to think Preston are 18th

bristol city are on a great run.

Hull have stormed up the league

Blackburn won four on the trot, went 2-0 up at Brentford, and then lost 5-2

we're hanging in there.

Some real great games and almost every game is a big game for those involved

No, the quality is dire at times but we all love watching it because it’s the league we are in. History shows that the genuine good teams tend to run away with this league like Wolves, Bournemouth, Leicester and Newcastle did.

Bournemouth and Newcastle only won the league due to last minute goals elsewhere, to be fair…

Plus we were better than Bournemouth and finished eighth

Its also the football version of being stuck in hell. A case could be made for half the teams in the division being in the Premiership based on history, ground size etc. Yet every year almost all, including us, fall short.

An argument is made that we don't deserve to go up but that money windfall would mean that even if we came straight back down, the one year there would be worth it.

Its an entertaining league and probably the reason why my blood pressure meds have had to be increased dosage wise.

No, no one cares about the championship unless your team is in it.

On the plus side, its relatively competitive and crowds are good.

On the down side, most clubs are living outwith their means paying silly wages,  and I dont like the way a lot of clubs have so many premier league loan players in their squads.
