dog
A difficult choice. For me the pea adds colour and sweetness to a variety of dishes, but the onion is a standard part of many recipes. Both can be part of the s plan diet in which you can only eat spherical food.
BathRam72
I actually love veg. Peas are a favourite along with White cabbage. Yes onions and garlic are used in a lot of the fresh recipes I cook. I love carrots in butter. Potatoes are so versatile as are sweet potatoes. I have a vegan step daughter and to spice up the food she eats I bought a great cook book called Bosh. The recipes are easy and taste superb, as a result we now have 4 or 5 vegan meals a week as a family. The Mac and greens are to die for

Big fruit n veg eater myself - I'm not a veggie or anything like that but am eating far less meat in recent years cos other than a nice chicken or ham sandwich on crusty bread I don't really enjoy meat as much as I used to tbh. We grow a lot of our veg too and have half a dozen chickens (for the eggs!), can't beat the freshness and taste imo.

Gritstone Ram
Grown a few this year on the allotment. Cabbage was great cauliflower and mange-tout have done well but the best performer for me this year has been dwarf French beans. Oh me taters aren’t ready yet I had a few problems with the weather and my earlies, so I’m waiting for some lates at the end of this month. We’re struggling without politics and religion. Leeks, onions. WTF is the spherical diet?Aren’t most pizzas spherical? Is that where we got digestive sandwiches from? Good thread,I wonder if anyone gets into some beef over veg.

angieram
I'm allergic to onions and garlic, makes eating out a nightmare. Carrots, parsnips, and a small amount of green vegetables are about all I can eat - as a younger person, spring cabbage was my very favourite! May Contain Nuts
Sweetcorn, it's so good that you can eat it and then later on still see it in your poo. Indestructible Water chestnuts are ace too.
