“Couldn’t hack it”.

To be frank, you haven’t got a clue what his reasons are.

Neither have you You real!y shouldn't be replying to something you clearly know nothing about  Mclaren said on being interviewed on SkySport  that he returned to England because he was struggling with getting his ideas through to people at the club stating language and management attitudes   So I think that is realistic to say he couldn't hack it

Or there was a clear miscommunication due to the fact that there was a language barrier and maybe some players weren't so - operating well enough... The man gets stick for variables he can't even control!

Irrelevant in spades - replied to a comment saying he was nothing but a loser. Point is that he's had success too but I guess you'd rather overlook that in keeping with your agenda. Nuff said really!

What would you call 3out of 14 then a blip It wouldn't have mattered if he took us to bottom three you would still think he was harshly treated

It was a poor run of form but he literally took over in October so of course it’s harsh to sack him in March! As I said at the time I don’t think he should have been brought back, given what happened before, but that doesn’t make the sacking “fair”. He was harshly treated, imo it was the right decision to get rid as he shouldn’t have been brought back, but that doesn’t mean he wants harshly treated!

I was chuffed Mac returned. He did a great job after Calamity Pearson. But ultimately Mel, as owner, has the right to choose who he thinks is best for the job. The availability of Rowett, the decline in results and the actions of Mac on the sideline during our defeat to Brighton all led to him being sacked. However, IMO he did not fail, he just didn't have the time afforded to him to succeed.

Never said I did, I'm not the one making up assumptions to try and fit an argument tbh.

A quick read of the official Maccabi Tel Aviv statement points to another reason but who knows. Rather deal with the "failures" where there's plenty of information and evidence available, not fabricated throw away comments.

So what are saying Mclaren was lying in is interview nobody making assumptions just repeating what was said  Nothing fabricated or thrown away just a tip mate when you find yourself in a hole stop digging

Did he say he couldn’t hack it? There’s literally no evidence I’ve seen which points to this so yeah, it is fabricated unless you point me in the direction of some actual quotes.

Digging? Ha. The only thing I’m digging up is your make believe argument!

Your doing all the contradicting I have given you my reasons its up to you if you think Mclaren is lying after all he lied enough about the Newcastle job didn't he  Don't keep telling me you've seen no evidence tell me where you've looked and more importantly what it said  Or is that your make believe argument  Here's another tip mate when you have nothing to say its best to say nothing

A quick google, all on the first page:

Nothing to suggest he can't hack it, every report has the same theme of him wanting to pursue other options in the UK, cutting short his coaching consultancy as was expected when he first took the job. Both directors and manager sad to see him leave after a beneficial stint.

Plenty of bad spells to choose from to berate him with without trying to dress this one up IMO.

Looking forward to the next paragraph ending cliche.

Because of a really unfortunate set of injuries concentrated down the spine of our team in 14/15, any dip in form following the new year quickly becomes ‘our annual collapse’ regardless of situation/manager/players.

All football and great memories aside, that’s the most influential part of his legacy right now. It’s a shared delusion that we need to get over as a club if we’re ever going to get out this ******* league.

All I can quote is what he said on his Sky interview I get the impression you think I'm making it up I can assure you I'm not There must be thousands of fans who saw the interview As for what what the directors say that's just standard talk they all say thank you for all you have done and we wish you well in the future blah blah  Morris even said that about Pearson and Clement

Oh come back when Rowett has done even half of what Mac has.

I would be okay to see him in a DOF role at the club - That way he can attract talent without properly getting involved with the first team directly? Especially after our failed attempts to sign Lookman for example

Wrong way round imo ,he's a top coach who needs a DOF above him .He's a crap manager .
