If we did lose, it would be 10 points from 8 games, by my calculations such form would have us finishing on 57 points for the season.

With some very tricky games coming up in October and November it is imperative we start winning games.

For me Saturday is a massive game, Huge in fact...lose it and I can see Mel's bum twitching like Arrys face.

If we do lose Saturday I am sure we will still achieve more than 60 pts. It does however have the feel of a mid table season for the Rams.

If we lose tomorrow...

We shall have lost the opportunity to win three points or one point;

We shall have gained an opportunity to vent our spleens;

Some will see it as a vindication of their view that GR isn't up to the job;

Some will see it as a vindication of their view that Mel is a poor owner;

Some will go over the top in their criticism;

Some will go over the top in their defence of the team;

Some will blame Radio Derby :ph34r: (I will anyway apparently);

Some will over analyse;

Some will over simplify;

It will either mean we won't get promoted or it won't effect promotion one way or the other, but there will be speculation about both outcomes;

I shall be grumpier on Sunday than I might otherwise be (although as I have to work I'll be grumpy anyway);

All shall be moot though, as we are going to win (however, a lot of the above counts for a win as much as a defeat!?)!

COYR.

Don't forget, some will find another excuse to blame Keogh and spot a mistake. Actually, some will no doubt still do that even if we win well.

We could win Saturday and go on and get relegated.

We could lose Saturday and go on and win the league.

We'll still have another 38 games to play come 5pm (which is an entire Premier League season).

Chill fam.

I agree with all of this and would have given you a like but you used the word 'fam' so I'm out.
