MackworthRamIsGod
Would be an excellent signing and someone I have suggested we sign in the past, I would be very happy with it.
cheron85
Defensive Mid?
Nuwtfly
Would be an excellent signing, but would mean us needing to get rid of st least 2 midfielders. Maybe 3.
DcFc Dyycheee
If he can play in a two, go for it.
Sexydadbod
Good player and is a leader. Perhaps most important of all he is a defensive mid! He also has a long throw, get Delap helping him on his long throw technique and boom, we will be stoke 2.
Animal is a Ram
Cardiff mostly played as a flat 4 under Russell Slade, IIRC.
toddy
Good fit for us, but that's Hendrick going then and possibly Johnson also.
VulcanRam
Haven't Cardiff been after Johnny Russell for ages? If he's not playing under Pearson, he might fancy it.

Hope his other skills are useful
Carl Sagan
Another midffielder so Pearson doesn't have to pick Hughes. Good oh...
RamLad1884
fits the pearson mould, strong powerful and a eye for a long shot. Could be a shrewd signing if it happens
DCFC1388
To replace an outgoing johnson/hendrick maybe?
MackworthRamIsGod
Does Pearson and Mel know something us fans don't, as in Hughes could be going for big bucks?

MackworthRamIsGod
There was the crazy rumour about Newcastle bidding for him, maybe it isn't so crazy. if someone has contacted us and we are asking for 15 mil plus, would explain why we are starting to bid big. Either Pearson has seen enough from one game to know the current players aren't up to it, or we actually never had money to spent and was waiting for money to come in from somewhere? My first thought when the team was announced at the weekend was that Pearson picked a Hughes-less team to see how we managed without him - the answer was that we didn't manage very well at all....in 2 games (Brighton & the German friendly), Hughes has come on with 30 mins to go and been our best player by a country mile. I suspect that we have had bids and Mel is giving Pearson a big say in whether we keep him or cash-in.....
Sexydadbod
Even if that was the case, promotion would be more valuable to us financially. I would say to Hughes give us 1 more season and if we don't get promoted then you can leave
