You can argue it is their first game under Rodgers but hey the opposition were all part timers. There are a few on here who wanted Rodgers as our next manager. Lucky escape really. I would be mortified if my multinational, highly paid internationals lost to an ice cream salesman a fireman and a taxi driver. I am sure Mr Pearson would have had a few choice words to say.
