Rampage Posted April 11, 2016 Share Posted April 11, 2016 Strange game tonight, great crowd, but very quiet. Arsenal hit the bar with a looping shot. Arsenal took a deserved lead. They could play round our defenders. They were more gifted and classy than us. Zanzala went off in agony, looked like a dislocated shoulder or collar bone to me. Playerd up till then with Zanzala on his own and his marker was too good for him. Vernam came on for Zanzala and scored a disputed equaliser. Ref lot a lot go this evening. HT 1-1 but they were better than us. Arsenal had a guy sent off for arguing with the Ref after they were not given a penalty. We had about four chances and should have scored from one of them. They scored from a breakaway with a rasping shot off the underside of the bar,.Not enough pressing by us against ten men. At times it looked like they had more players than us.Best side won but we could have won it if we had taken our chances. We should have had three over age players at least on the bench. Arsenal need three points from two games to be Champions. If they draw their last two games we are champions on Goal Difference. We will presumably be at home against the fifth placed team in Play Offs. If we win that one then we are at home against the winners of third v fourth Play Off game.
