eustonstation Posted August 11, 2015 Share Posted August 11, 2015 He wasn't match fit in January, It's when you can start a first team game.For the record i walked in and out of the Grand Canyon 9 months after my ACL. 4000 ft descent then ascent, took 11 hours and was 90C at the bottom. Quality cm who contributed massively to watford going up! Has anyone ever seen Dawkins get bullied? His ability to hold possession even when outnumbered, is the best we have. So i think 7 months for Hughes. That make sense in my head.Of course you ain't match fit straight away but it's not about the knee...you only need time on the pitch to get it, like new preseason. But 7 months could be about right, he is young though and shorter period could be enough as well.I came just from Lofeten, have to say that descenting it much worse to the knees than ascenting! The club are mysteriously quiet.Clearly they're of the opinion that it'll be fine to update everyone during the Pompey press conference, if they announce it between now and the press conference then I agree the timing is very odd. Not sure why that would be necessary as although losing Hughes for the season would be a real blow, it's not like we'd expect a wave of suicides.
