duncanjwitham
Interesting if they play a 3-5-2. When we played that formation against Chesterfield we had a hard time in the first half because they played the diamond. Maybe we might see us take that approach then? We had a hard time against Chesterfield because we were unfamiliar with the formation, and the game got very bogged down with far too many men in the middle of the pitch. The best thing for us to do is to stick with the 433 - a lone striker against 3 centre halves is always going to leave us outnumbering them elsewhere on the pitch. We're either going to be able to double up on their lone wide players, or they are going to have to pull defenders and midfielders out wide to help, leaving big gaps for us to make runs into. Exactly. It wasn't so much them giving us a tough time due to a diamond, it was us not knowing our arse from our elbows playing 3-5-2 ourselves. ketteringram
When the away alllocation is well short, do we ever move the no mans land, and sell the extra seats to home fans?

Derby Ram 123
352 could be the way to go for this game with bent and martin up top. Grant Shotton Keogh (Bucko if fit) Albentosa Ward Mascarell Hughes Hendrick Ince Martin Bent 2-0 Derby I reckon. Martin and bent with the goals. Ted McMinn Football Genius
Plea to McClaren: Steve - just for once, this one time, throw us a freaking bone and start both Lingard and Ince. Don't pee on these fun deadline day fireworks and put Dawks and Ward out there. -_- Lingard did have 4 goals on his last Champ debut and according to Ince he was MOTM on his Forest debut (i think he just said that in his interview), and Ince and lingard are both chomping at the bit to help get us promoted. Dare to be different just this once. Come on Steve, you know you want to, you know one or both will come good. It's destined to be. Plea to Steve (part II)... Carry on as you were, keep doing what you've been doing. "Thankyou Please!!"
Guest
If you find a stream I'd like to wipe your arse That's a very clever reply Alpha. Pure wit. However the truth of the matter is that if ARs diet is what he says it is, you'd want to be very far away from his arse, regardless of streams or diamonds popping out. Bris Vegas
Pathetic 600. Hardly. They have nothing to play for, regualr fans have just spent big on the two Liverpool games and they're at a promotion-chasing side fully expecting to lose. Why would they want to go? DesertRam
We are obviously going to see Ince and Lingard at some time today, interested to see whether we are 'resting' players for Tuesday, or giving them a cameo before a start in Tuesdays match. It could give Bournemouth a bit more to worry about - expect them to just play their normal game though, all out attack!!!

They have nothing to play for, regualr fans have just spent big on the two Liverpool games and they're at a promotion-chasing side fully expecting to lose. Why would they want to go? You have some odd opinions at times Bris. Reasons to go: 1. Derby are a local side (90 miles) 2. They are playing a top of the table side and the team needs their support 3. Supporters support their team 4. They have a new manager who needs their support 5. Their team is just starting to turn their results around 6. Their is no reason they can't go on a run and play for a play-off place 7. The feel good factor is back at Bolton due to the change in management Only the glory hunters of supporters would not want to go. When I lived in England, I used to love going to away games far more than at home. The die-hard supporters tend to.
