I don't think he'll be out of work long - the surprise in his sacking was pretty much the same in most clubs in this division, and a few Wednesday fans seemed desperate to get him in to replace Jones. Saying that Bolton are in a similar predicament to what we was when Clough first came in. I don't think he'll have to take a job in the lower leagues if he doesn't want to - already proven himself at this level with tight constraints, and a dubious sacking met with a backlash by the fans will help him no-end.
