Its been great getting back to our seats .
Bit like sticking your head above the trench, though, as you nervously glance around. Great delight and smiles all round as you see for the first time in months and months your fellow positive supporting rams fans. Inner groans and disappointment when you realise some of the moaners and foul mouthers have renewed !

There is a huge shortage, @Ellafella, you are right. But a ticket office at the beginning of the season is vital! It's like a theatre putting on a play with no one to man the phones or the ticket office! Derby might be beginning to sort out the ticket situation now but they've had loads of time to put things into place. I was made redundant in July of last year because of the pandemic. How about we go down and offer our services if they are short staffed? ?

One thing that really struck me yesterday, and I have no idea what it means, is that very few people around us in the East Stand left before full time.
Previously, there would generally be a big rush out by a fair few people starting on precisely 80 minutes ( ie generally a good 15 minutes before the end….?) . Their right, no problem, but blocking everyones views at what is often the critical time in the game .
Yesterday no-one was leaving on 80 minutes, and very few before full time.
As I say, I have no science behind what this means, but it does seem an interesting coincidence that we have a great atmosphere the whole game long, we have the vast, vast majority backing the team and players and we have very few people leaving early, when we get down to a core attendance of around 16000.
Could be a complete coincidence and my thinking is utter balderdash of course !!

Update. He’s been sectioned today, went down to watch Police, Nurses, his Doctor take him away.
Kinda hard to watch whilst at the same time knowing it’s exactly what’s needed to keep not only himself but others safe.
The tipping point was being seen shouting F off to old people in the park and saying he was off to get a gun to shoot them.
Police still sat on their hands, however after a lot of phone calls and pleas to Navigo they finally arranged it.
Tough part now is that he’s told them he no longer wants them which has upset the family a fair bit, tried explaining that this lad is not their son talking, once they get some meds back inside him things will be ok.
Confirmed to us that he doesn’t have the mental capacity to look after himself and not to worry, he’s in a secure unit now.
Parents are old though, finding it hard to understand and accept so lining up a couple of days getting them out and occupying them.
Just thought I’d pop on with this update and not to send the search party out for me again. I’m all good. ?

Incredibly late one here @rammieibso this might not be helpful in the slightest, but just wanted to give my own personal experience. I started on Fluoxetine last August after years of just generally being very unhappy and letting anxiety rule. Around the same time I started on weekly counselling sessions too, albeit virtually, to try and understand just why I felt that way.
My experience of fluoxetine (having previously been on propanolol a few years ago) has definitely been more positive than negative. The only side effects I've noticed have been around waking up during the night more often, which coincides with some pretty mad night sweats, which are actually pretty funny nowadays. I started on 20mg daily and have just had it raised slightly to 30mg after a bit of a downward turn having returned to Germany from the UK and a couple of bouts of illness, but I could not recommend tablets enough. Yes it's not a permanent solution to the real problems, but if they work for you, they at least allow you to get through daily life and be a version of yourself you are happier with. Without feeling like I rely on them, they are a huge assistance just to get out of the fog.
There are also some really good apps out there as well, one of which is a pretty clever AI tool called Woebot which, unsurprisingly, is a robot designed to talk about, well, woe. The talking therapy helps too, as long as you find someone you can fully open up to.
Even without contributing as much as I should in the forum, just having a thread such as this is a huge asset to anyone who struggles. I hope anyone reading this is doing okay - and if you're not, there's an entire community on here who is with you, whatever you're going through.

I haven't seen any of those posts I'm afraid and i am very sorry to hear of your situation Tyler
Many of us have experience, including myself, of your difficulty.
I am trying not to come across as condescending or all knowing (because I am not) - it is really great that you are talking openly about it. And because of that I know (even if you don't yet ) that you will come out the other side.
One of the keys to it, I believe, is having genuine human interaction. Social media can be great, but its not like the real thing !
If you wanted to meet up and have a chat about all things Derby County I would be delighted to do that. If and when you felt comfortable.

Yes, I do realise that. I know three people personally that have died due to Covid, and a heck of a lot more who haven't got back to anything like normal living. Thought I had acknowledged in my post that there would be a variety of reasons why they aren't there.
That doesn't alter the fact that the people who were sitting in my area of the ground, all regulars, did very little in recent seasons to get behind the team. Their money, their choice.
I didn't like it and much prefer to sit with supporters who give some support.

You are quite right that he was very well thought of by  the club, players and fans
But it seemed to me, whenever I watched them last season, that Watford were not the right fit for Will. He plays too deep for them to make full use of his abilities. And whilst I’ve always rated his tackling ability, I suspect he personally wants to play much further up the pitch. Only conjecture, but maybe thats why he wants a move.

Burnley been in the prem six years, very well respected manager. Could do worse ?

When Warnock praises the ref you know the official has had a stinker. If he moans about decisions then there's a good chance the ref has got the big decisions correct.
The media portray him as a larger than life character and like the egotist he is, whatever he can say or do to live up to his image then he will.

Thought Joz was excellent yesterday. Worked incredibly hard , put tackles in, great attitude
He’s got amazing control and ability with the ball - maybe the other players should more often fire it directly into him , knowing he will control it and do something with it
So good to see him respond so well to a couple of not great moments in earlier matches - augurs very well indeed, especially when his mate gets back out on the pitch
