For me there are two important outcomes for DCFC here: the first is the obvious one - just making it through this crisis.  The second is to find a way out of this that means that whoever comes out of this administration owning you isn't just a puppet for the previous regime (i.e. you've at the very least got a clear route to owning your own stadium/training ground, etc.)

I've seen too many clubs either threatened or ruined by shysters masquerading as saviours in recent years; including my own club on a few occasions unfortunately.  Ultimately it's fans like you or me that go through the grief/anguish worrying about whether we'll have a club to support.  At that point it becomes less about who we support; and more about the fact we're supporters of clubs that support our communities.

    Keep fighting and stay proud.

    Well said !

    Portsmouth fan here in peace.

I'm guessing that some of you will have seen that we have previous with Andronikou involved as an administrator with us; and fair to say that those of our support who remember him hold him in utter contempt.

I sincerely hope you manage to rid yourself of Morris' tenure and are able to move on properly from all this without him having any control over any of the assets your club needs to move forward.

Look after yourselves - and hopefully when we meet next season things will be on a bit more of an even keel for you.

Thank you mate. Hopefully it gets resolved soon. We all need to stand together as a footballing community at times to make sure our clubs aren't taken away from us fans.

I can't imagine Derby with no Derby County or Portsmouth with no Portsmouth Football Club.

    My guess:

Quantuma will quickly announce Appleby as PB tomorrow to deflect from the sh1t storm heading their way.

Something will happen tomorrow, fixtures are out in less than a week now, I feel tomorrow holds some significance somehow, see who blinks first, Q or the EFL.

They should do, but I don't think they will as they seem to dragging this out.

So the Appleby led consortium placed a bid early yesterday which has been described as highly competitive ( whatever that means) . So what have Q been up to in the last 30 hours or so ? Trying to squeeze more out of the other interested parties I presume?

Surely we need to accept this and move on and get planning for next season.

It looks fairly certain that we will still be in administration by the time the new season begins. There isn't anywhere near enough time to get a deal done, even if Quantuma were a competent (they've proven otherwise) administrator. Our problem is going to be the likelihood of not being able to fulfil fixtures. Further penalties would follow.

This is my concern. Will we be able renew contracts and sign some free agents/loan signings before the season starts? if not how can we field a competitive team?

I'm hopeful that with  two players with proper heavyweight wealth ( MA and Morgan ) showing interest, the relatively small amounts ( to them ) will result in some sort of deal to construct a deal to avoid the minus 15 point penalty.

Both will want to outdo each other for the prize and the ego thing I hope will eventually lead to them conceding a little ( for what it is for them ) chump change.

I say hope, for that's what it is - not expectation. Surely if it comes to a one on one, egos will lead to them conceding a little more cash to outdo the other.

Personally, I think Morgan is the more likely to concede something. MA"s a more hardened poker player, but would he want to miss out on Pride Park being a huge Sports Direct mug shrine to his empire? He's the master of the financial end-game, but like any auction, if two people want it badly I'm hoping it'll become an Ebay-esque battle, with one waking up after a night on the p*** thinking " Did I really pay that much for THAT? "

Sorry, the alarm's just gone off. Was I dreaming?

I think there will be a lot of poker and going back and forth between all parties, my concern is how long will this take?

To this day still can't understand Kircheners desire to buy our club.

I can understand Ashley's which is motivated by making some money out of us long term but Kirchener? Some random Yank with no affiliation to football suddenly deciding that he's interested in acquiring a League 1 football team.

Just don't get it. Ditto Ryan Reynolds whom waffled on about Wrexhams appeal was having some intrinsic values tied to local communities or something very similar which still doesn't really explain things at all.

At least Reynolds had the cash needed to buy the club but Kirchener? It's just bizarre.

CK enjoys kicking tyres, only explanation I can think of.

Hard to know what to believe about Kirchner.

It's very difficult to think that a man who has passed all the tests and has the required 20 odd million, can't actually get transfer the money from the US to here...but it's not something I've ever tried.

The obvious conclusion is that either he hasn't sent it or the 'check' has come back positive. But Nixon is adamant that the monet will arrive and Quantuma appear to still consider him a bidder. It's all very strange.

Counterintuitively, I reckon the longer it goes on, the more likely it is to be Kirchner.

It makes no sense. I feel if the money was ever going to arrive it would have done so by now though.

DCFC 21/22 administration villain league table perhaps?

    1. Mel Morris

    2. Stephen Pearce

    --------------------

    3. Quantuma

    4. Gibson

    5. EFL

    6. Coughing

    -------------------

    7. Ed Dawes

    8. Chris Kirchner

    9. Mike Ashley

    10. Alan Nixon

    11. Andy Appleby

    12. Los Binnie Homanos

Obviously, it's a real shame for Ed losing out on a play off spot, and CK might still have some game in hand to move up into the top six.

Not sure how Ed Dawes can be on that list?

MM obviously has to top the list

Clowes maybe, gadsby maybe. I think Binnies decided it wasto complicated and expensive and not the bargain it might have been so won't be back.

Not sure if Morgan was connected to Appleby or a player by himself.

Could Gadsby back Appleby to get a deal over the line maybe? If Clownes was interested in PP they could well be interested in the club as a whole as well.

Sadly a lot less than last time which of course was on a match day. A lot of fans travel a reasonable distance to home games and, whilst they would want to support such an event, they might not want to travel just for the march.

There might not be 10,000 but at least 500 or so would which would send out a good message.
