Just remember... once you do get a new holder... leave the card in.

The card doesn't need to be removed every game to gain entry.
The card only needs to be held close to the scanner, not literally inserted into the slot reader thing.  Much like a chip and pin card doesn't need to actually make contact to the reader.  Very close is good enough (and more hygenic for the anti-bac brigade), and still in the wallet works fine.  (You may have to open up the wallet?)

That should extend the life of a cheapy/plasticy holder/wallet.

I do this, a lot easier than getting your card out of the holder. Do this wih my bus pass too.🤣

Do the Club have any new Season Ticket Card Holder sleeves available at all ?.
They are only plastic and mine has gone brittle and is falling to pieces - it’s now more sellotape than Card Holder !! 🫣🐏

    So is mine🤣

Yes we changed to Tue when McClaren came in. We had to get special dispensation from the league to change half-way through the season.

👍, never knew that was the reason we changed.

The influx of foreign money has been anything other than positive for the English game.

To many foreign owners, and now american actors are getting in on the act. I think in years to come they will get fed up of football and go onto something else. Thats why if David Clowes gets some investment in the club i hope he keeps the majority of the shares.

I think a certain generation would, I think a lot though would be more concerned with VAR than KO times.

Proof will be in the pudding as they say, I wouldn't be surprised to see the same attendances next year as this, we shall see.

Its not really proof though is it, because if you are a fan you would still prob turnout if the games were played anytime in the day or night, but it shouldnt have to be like that.

The changing of the game times on a Saturday, midweek won't move. Three games at 12.30, to sell advertising you need to have an audience, those will mostly be fans of the teams involved, therefore the target audience as they are more likely to buy a sky sports subscription.

I must be old fashioned, but foot ball to me is at 3 on a saturday and tuesday nights.

    1. Kick-offs - why was that changed?

    2. Offside rule - can anyone explain that nowadays?

    3. Drop-balls - what happened??

    4. Goal- kicks …wtf?!

    5. 4th official - what do they do?

    6. VAR - farce.

Football - created by the poor; stolen by the rich. image.png.1e863f6023dbaa922415cb4dc3e7c4d8.png

Couldnt do without 4th official, he holds the board up for subs and time added on😉

Honestly guys, that last 20 mins was horrendous, my poor heart haha

One positive I can take from it is that we got the job done despite never really playing well in either playoff game (partly because barnsley arent great) and also that I think Oxford suits us better than Posh (and tbh as much as I'm desperate to win, if we do lose, I'd rather lose to Oxford than Darren Ferguson).

Fingers crossed we turn up and get it done. Our last 2 trips to Wembley are Bolton 4-0 Plymouth last season and Bolton 0-5 Stoke in the FA Cup semis about a decade ago so could literally be anything based on our history.

Got some Rams fan mates who were at your QPR Wembley trip that I sympathised with and was gutted for at the time so I hope more than anything we don't experience that kind of pain and we get a good day out, the boys give it their all and make us proud

Hope you do it, lmo whoever finishes 3rd should go up. Im not a fan of platoffs.

One relegation season, oppo fans singing "going down, going down, going down" swiftly replied to with "so are we....."

Fans of a certain age will remember "Leeds reserves were better"

He's here, he's there, he's asked us not to swear, John O'Hare, John O'Hare

Blackpool away, their lot started "jump around if you're staying up" which was very quickly taken over by 4000 Rams voices "jump around if you're going down"

THAT season "Let's pretend we scored a goal"

I liked the john o hare one.

Weird how we have memories of stuff that never happened. That was well before he came to Derby,

And I'm not taking the p*** because it's been proven how easy it is for all of us to construct false memories of events afterwards from things like photos.

I thought it was at spurs, cant remember the incident myself but its an iconic photo of him, and i love the photo.👍

Mine too, billy thought he was hard, but dave soon showed him who was boss, but this picture could have been when he was at spurs, but not quite sure of that.

One performance of utter lunacy stands out, and that was Bruce Rioch scything through the entire Southend team in the cup at the BBG in 1975 and, unbelievably, not getting sent off.

But as others have said, we've never had a dirty team, per se.

In terms of hard men, I doubt any would top Dave Mackay.

He was hard, and came back from 2 broken legs at spurs i think.
