We landed at EMA at 13:55 on 24th May, 2014.
Walked in the front door at 14:57, and the tellybox was re-booted, up and running as the ref blew for kick off.
... Perfect timing, and all was fine and dandy, until that Bobby Zamora moment, when I just sat stunned, watching the rest of you sat crying on the telly!  Never been so relieved to have missed a big game!  ??

Thought everything that was wrong with our approach on Tuesday was right yesterday. Forget the formation, the basics were right. We played with purpose on and off the ball, we were aggressive in tackles immediately and generally looked like we were putting more effort in. That should be the bare minimum, and doing that will see us winning far more than we lose in this league.
Beyond that, it was frustrating to have conceded 2 goals in that game. Wildsmith with his second game in a row with literally nothing to do, and somehow conceded to a scramble from a free kick and yet another penalty. Should have been 4-0, comfortably. 
Forsyth had a really good game at centre back. Slightly clumsy challenge for the penalty but the blame there goes to Cashin. Not sure what he was doing when rather than getting back into position he went out to the right back area to poorly press the ball. Confused things entirely and immediately led to the penalty.
Hourihane’s best game of the season for me. He wasn’t magnificent or anything, but he was involved in open play far more than he has ever been.
Could go through the obvious ones like Didzy playing well, but sure that’s already been said. Will say though, thought Bristol were awful. First team I’ve seen this year that really struggled at centre back (and keeper) to deal with any kind of ball forward. Offered basically nothing going forward the entire game too.

Didzy revealed in his post match on Radio Derby that he’s always bigging up NML and telling him he’s too good for League One. Have to agree, he’s been excellent in every game. Refreshing to have a proper winger with pace, skill, and end product. Puts in a shift as well.
Player of the season so far, by a country mile.

That’s probably the best game this season so far.  Superb first half and straight at them from the off.  The pressing by Collins, NML & McGoldrick was excellent.  3 great hat-trick goals plus a goal from a corner.
One word for the 2nd half - professional.  The last 20mins or so was really good game management.  Pushed it as far as we dare with time wasting which did result in a couple of bookings, but so what.  Kept the shape and made them play in front of us.
More of the same please ?!!

I hope that everyone on this forum leaves a tidy table when they eat out. It takes very little effort and makes a lot of difference to the staff . It's basic good manners and consideration. Likewise leaving a tidy dressing room.
