FWIW, in a rare bit of itk, I happen to know that the council have secured funding to purchase the stadium. So hopefully that one will be resolved soon.

At the time of Rowett’s appointment it was hard to tell what his style was. As both of his jobs previously was taking a struggling outfit and getting them near the top end of the league on a small budget.  
  
He may have even told Mel what he wanted to hear to get the job. But ultimately he put his chips on experienced players to poo house us up the league and it backfired. 
 
He had a shocker at Stoke and then to be fair he’s doing a good job at Millwall. But I guess there’s less snobbery about the football played at the Den.

We’ll never know whether sticking with Pearson or Mac2 would’ve correlated to a better present. However I remember during both runs I was happy to see the back of them. 
 
I think the bigger issue is that the players most of us have a good word for had a serious mentality issue that either allowed themselves to get to big for the club or not have the capacity to stop the rot. 
 
In hindsight we probably should’ve allowed Bryson to go Burnley and recruit from there a la Brentford style.

Think ultimately even if next season doesn’t see us go up we’ll be back up within 3. 
  
Can we appreciate that Rotherham regularly come straight back up and they’re dreadful.

I wouldn’t say the minute hand on the doomsday clock has moved too much in our favour despite CK’s movement.  
  
The spectrum on how next season could go is the fullest of any clubs in any of the top 4 divisions.

For the longest time I wanted Roos to have his chance, ever since seeing him in that epic cup game at Fulham. He’s struggled for consistency though and for every few great saves you always feel there’s a poorly dealt with cross not far away that shoots us in the foot.
Allsop I presumed had come in to make up the numbers and I didn’t really get it with the few squad spaces we had available. Especially seeing as his first few appearances he looked shaky as anything. Since then though I’ve been won around and especially crosses into the box, I’ve not felt as relaxed with our keeper in a very very long time. For all the pressure we’ve soaked up at times this season I think he’s done exceptionally, and in the grand scheme of things I’d guess his stats for goals being his fault versus his league peers is low. 
 
Long story short; didn’t know why we signed him, but fully behind him now.

Thanks for the insight it’s appreciated. Unfortunately it’s pretty upsetting if all of your predictions are correct. 
 
Especially Ebiowei who has only played for 1/4 of the season and who under normal circumstances wouldn’t have even been in the first team this season. For him to get his chance in the limelight and split when the light is at the end of the tunnel is disappointing. 
  
Lawrence is a big earner so that make sense and Knight is being courted by a handful of clubs so also makes sense. 
 
Sibley also disappointing but can totally appreciate his point of view. Rooney doesn’t seem to rate him at all.

It would be nice but I would imagine there are a few agents stirring the pot.
