Not sure I have ever seen much magic from Ravel. Surprised he gets the shirt before Sibbo when we are crying out for some creativity…..

He was pretty decent during his time at West Ham. Has definitely regressed. As for Sibley I didn’t like his performance against Milwall one bit..so lightweight. Every Derby fan wants to see him kick on and become a main player but it’s not happening at all for him.

Yep, or Plange playing off CKR.

Don’t understand Morrisons inclusion if your playing Bird and Beilik, not enough attacking threat with the three of them.

I didn’t like the stick Morrison was getting earlier on in the season but the more I watch him now the more I realise that he’s lost his magic.

He was a proper game changer during his younger years. Now he’s just pretty on the ball whilst offering nothing of substance.

Respect him for signing and I don’t doubt his effort to the cause but he’s not much to get excited about these days.

  3. What a pile of dross. Watched the last 25 minutes seeing the ball out of play, in the air or in our half. We never looked like getting our foot on the ball today. Bielik not the man mountain we saw last season. Kazim is a better sub and without Lawrence we look toothless.

  4. Not a fan of the starting line up. Might be the medicine that we need but looks like we’re looking to keep it tight and maybe look to knick it late on with Ebosele coming on.

Other than Bielik at a set piece or maybe Kazim/Knight in open play who else is going to score?

He took us to the playoffs after stacking the team with expensive journeymen and ballooned our wage bill.

Then served up the most craven performance in living memory vs Fulham at craven cottage......

    Opinions, yes.

He didn’t spend half as much as Lampard did and he finished the same position within the regular season.

I quite rate the guy but ultimately he’s never got promoted from this league so it appears taking pony and making them mid table may be his level. I don’t mean that as a criticism either as teams like Barnsley, Millwall, Blackpool etc would snap your hand off at that.

  6. As others have said plenty of huff and puff but you can’t be giving a team like Millwall a 2 goal cushion before flicking the switch.

Think Lawrence’s red is rearing it’s ugly head. I say this quietly but it wouldn’t be a bad time to play the covid card. I think a week and half break would be appreciated. Could also have Lawrence back against a Luton side that might not be flying in a few weeks time.

  7. Schoolboy from Davies to give Wallace a chance to swing one in within the first minute. Never really recovered after that. Plange is being bullied, Sibley isn’t looking great, Buchanan despite looking like a decent outlet last season offers the same as Forsyth.

Millwall happy to sit and let us make an error going forward. Very disappointing display this far. A Rowettball wet dream.

Next 5 games would be a great opportunity to pile the pressure on. Reading are at Blackpool, then have Millwall before they meet Forest, Bournemouth and Blackburn

We're coming up against Millwall, Luton, Cardiff and Barnsley now.

If that gap is still 5 points after that then I'll be feeling sick.

Agreed, right now is do or die. Just seen a post on Twitter that highlights a particular tough run that includes; Bournemouth, Fulham, Blackburn and QPR so we can’t be relying on us to pull a rabbit out the hat over that period.

Reading have turned up the heat big time. If we respond tonight the players deserve every plaudit going.

  9. A Reading draw wouldn’t be a disaster at all. It’s the old, boring cliche but all we can do is concentrate on ourselves.

Said it a few posts back, I don’t think Hull will get dragged in. They’re 2/3 skanky wins away from being safe. Rather annoying that both them and Cardiff went on a good run because it’s made this relegation battle a 4 man fight.

  10. I fancied us against Hull before the match, I didn’t rate them at all during the match. However, as much as I’d like to say that they can get dragged in to the battle I’m afraid McCann’s weird swansong form has kept them up.

So on that basis a Hull win or draw would do nicely tonight.

  11. The better side won and it should have been a cruise after their red. Lawrence has had a shocker but as Sibley stepped up to the plate he’s somewhat saved his captains blushes. Shame he’s missing for 3 winnable fixtures though.

I imagine Milwall let us have possession and try to hit us on the break. Gonna be tough but I’m backing us for another win. Time for the celebratory merlot.

  12. Pretty sure we knew from the start that we didn’t do anything wrong with our accounting. Yes we saw a loophole and exploited it but that was on the EFL and still is.

No point getting angry, best thing we can hope for is us doing the great escape with a decent owner in place and we can hopefully crack ok next season.

This has all come from Mel being a sneaky bigger, EFL not wanting to take accountability and Gibson being jealous and blackmailing the EFL in to being his slave.

I am surprised by this, if a deal had been reached why was he playing. Is this another move WR was unaware of.

Most probably, these admin have shown their true colours the last 2/3 weeks.

  14. If Appleby is walking away it makes me think that either the admins or Mel has already got a secretive deal in place with Ashley but he wants certain things happening before he’ll officially commit.

His name keeps sticking around and Appleby has been in from the off so surely they’d have been chosen by now if the admins thought they were the best option.

Think this season on the pitch has been fun but how much enjoyment the remaining matches will bring is questionable. Hopefully we can storm league 1 next season and come back fresher than before.
