Comfortable 3-1 win in the end, we weren’t quite at it first half but were the better side and would have deserved a 1-0 lead…but for Ward’s rush of blood. Credit to Warne for bringing Wilson on, he made a big difference after the team started the second half slowly, goal and an assist probably make him man of the match ahead of the rock solid Nelson and blocking machine Cashin.
2 lovely goals either side of Wilson’s deft flick. Minutes for Elder, Thompson, TJJ is another plus.
Up to third, one point off second (2 if Bolton win on Sat), 6 wins and a draw in the last 7….it’s not bad going really for me. 🐏

Happy days. Great performances from Cashin and Wilson, well taken goal by Collins and played some good stuff in spells. Only frustration is with Ward for that tackle, rightly hooked at half time. Good reaction from Derby to bounce back from a poor performance.

One man's petty bickering is another man's calling out the handful of people who post the same dire drivel in every matchday thread. I went for it tonight as I, for once, watched the game on RamsTV. As i expected, the abject negativity is totally overblown and pathetic. 6 wins and 1 draw from 7 now. Thank god these posters are not at the game itself.
And saying that you hate our manager is a disgrace at any point, let alone after a solid first half where only a stupid tackle prevented us going in 1 up.

I think you can understand why so many fans don't really want to think about the next owner and will want to avoid an 'ambitious' billionaire who just throws money at the club though. Been there, done that, got the points deduction.
There are as many, if not more, pitfalls of having a club that suddenly has an epic injection of cash. Lots of clubs have landed themselves in a mess as a result of this, and money doesn't necessarily buy success at all, there are as many examples of things going tits up as there are of Champions League trophies.
The whole fabric of the club changes, the culture gets thrown out of the window and decisions are made seemingly based for PR rather than football reasons. You only have to look at Birmingham for an example of that, there are many more where everything that came before gets thrown out of the window just because someone is willing to throw some money around on players.
I don't disagree that DC will want to sell at some point but given that his stated values include integrity and sustainability, I would seriously hope that the eventual sale will be done with utmost care to retain the stability and culture of the club that he will have built from the ground up.
I don't think you should be surprised that loads of us don't really want to engage with any club ownership chat at the moment. We should know more than most how chasing the dream can come crashing down so I for one hope that DC is with us for a good few years before we get back into the circus tent.

Think the real issue isn’t people who arnt fully onboard with warne , I get that , can respect it if it’s put out there with reasonable reason or even gut feeling , the issue is certain posters whose attacks on warne have bordered on obsession with personal attacks and total destruction of what the bloke has achieved at this leve ( the level we are at ) , those posters never give credit when it’s fairly due with the bad all down to warne but the good in spite of him or pure accident,
I think they are fair game for a bit of stick back but they seem to have gone into lurk mode until we lose a couple as we surely will over the rest of the season and for me if he gets us up he has earnt a crack at the championship, that’s not short term thinking it’s just how I roll

Oi! Don’t drag me into this!!
Just messing. It’s a fair point, I think I always approach posting on here with an intent of objectivity where I can (some may disagree) and by my own admission I’m typically optimistic in nature and try to “live in the moment”, very aware that the future isn’t promised to any of us, I also accept there are things I simply cannot change so a bit of patience has often served me well, hence my pro patience stance rather than pro Warne. But there was a period were I was overly active in looking to disprove the arguments of various posters where I felt they were ignoring facts to suit an agenda.
I took some time away and realised I’ve only got control over my own thoughts and actions, and whilst I’ll often ask open questions to look to understand an opposing perspective/viewpoint, essentially if someone wants to think or believe their thoughts and opinion are right and mine aren’t (whilst they’re clearly mistaken 😉) I essentially accept that and leave them to it.
I’m still happy and willing to engage in dialogue and look to share facts/evidence in a bid to open up another poster’s point of view, but I check myself far more regularly, take time away from the forum where I feel it’s annoying me, and leave people to it when I feel they’re just spoiling for a row due to entrenched views and have no willingness to consider an alternative perspective to their own even when facts present a bit of context. That’s up to them and they’re entitled to their opinion.

To answer the original question people should be able to regulate their own conduct, be respectful, consider the other persons point of view, don’t get drawn into the tit for tat, who does it help in the long run anyway?! It won’t change anything.
Respectful, open conversation, the occasional crude joke, puns galore and a winning Rams team is all we can ask 🐏

Scrappy, horrible game today but the three points are vital. Top 6, 6 points off auto's.
Every promotion we've had in my lifetime has been littered with games like this.
So yeah, we all want to play lovely football but if that's not possible then we need to fight and scrap for 100 minutes every match, which we did today.

Little late to this so apologies. What I think was brilliant, and it was, about B4 was that on an internet forum where we can argue for fifteen pages about whether or not Chris Martin should come back (he shouldn't btw) he managed to bring out the best in us. He had an ability to allow us to come together for the very reason we joined this forum - Derby County. Genuinely, that is no small feat and I say with certainty that this forum, and most likely the lives of those who knew him, will be a poorer place with him not amongst them.
