Here’s my favourite reply.
We don't own our ground, have debts totalling £60m, owe HMRC £26m, haven't seen the PL since 2008 and have a squad made up of pensioners and children. Along the way we sacked our captain for his involvement in a drink driving debarcle, we had very public spats with the EFL, we are being sued by fellow EFL members, and this year marks 14 since we were the worst team in PL history.
We know what bad ownership looks like.

It so hard to pick one right now! My top 5 (in order... just):
1. Curtis Davies - Legend, needn't say any more!
2. Phil Jagielka - Him and Curtis have been excellent at the back all season so far.
3. Max Bird - Mr consistency... and I get the feeling we're only just starting to see how good he actually is.
4. Tom Lawrence - Scored some very important goals.
5. Liam Thompson - Looks like he's been in the team a few years, never mind a few games.

We could really do with something being confirmed in the next 7-10 days. Even if only so that we have the funds to tie Jags down until the end of the season before his contract runs out. If it drags on into the last week of the window I really do fear we might start losing players for whatever we can get for them... which would be a real shame considering the fight that the lads are showing on the pitch right now.

3 games in a week might be a bit much for some of them (especially the back line). My line up:

Matej Vydra can be added to your list @Inverurie Ram. Reading fans thought he was bang average... then he went on to be one of only 2 players to score over 20 goals in a season for us in the last 10 years. Just goes to show how some clubs suit some players.
