In true B4 mode. Ivan Tobey as said he wants to leave Brentford we should go for him😀

One thing we didn't get was "battered". "Battering" is what we gave Oxford in the 2nd half at the Kassam. You can't batter a team with 34% possession, though you can create chances through fast breaks and long-balls, which is what Lincoln did.

Nelson header, hourihane shot from outside box and Collins shot that keeper turned round for a corner all in the 1st half off the top of my head. Our best chance of scoring was actually 10 seconds into the second half when barkhuizen was clean through but for some reason Sibley chose not to play a simple pass to him and went down the middle to Collins instead

He was commonly known as Walt, used to travel with him and some of his mates on the felix to away games. The felix used to pick us up at the wilmot in Chaddesden usually it already had a load on from Ilkeston we used to keep our heads down they were all nuts. I usually had mucker with me as he’s already divulged his fighting prowess earlier in the thread you’ll understand why we kept our heads down

Yeah because being 2nd in January was much more important than making sure we got 3 points.

I think it’s the top 4 in the world rankings that automatically qualify for the premier league not the top 4 in the world championships. They also have a certain amount of picks undoubtably Littler will be one of them

Just watched the Sunny Edwards, Bam Rodriquez fight. Rodriquez looks a bit special beat Edwards up he looks like he’s been hit by a bus. Edwards got dragged into a scrap and didn’t move as much as he usually does.

Botham/Beaumont best for me.
Was watchable after them, Parrott was ok and McCoist Frankie moved it more towards humour...
Tufnell/Mat jug-eared rugby player continued that and there became less and less questions. Until I was a very occasional viewer.
Watched 5mins with McGuinness and it was a big no.
Race was run.

Used to watch it religiously from the 70s till the 90s as I enjoy a good sports quiz, but turned into a comedy show and I’ve not watched it for years. Catch the odd snippet occasionally and mcguinness is awful I don’t rate him as a comedian never mind a sports show host

Well said .
A small group of us 63-65 year olds get together a couple of times a year for a few beers .We went out last Saturday night and got talking about the "good old days" getting the cane ,slipper, dodging the board rubber, p*ss taking, having a laugh everyday, and SARCASM. We got to pondering if there was such a thing as Herbert George Wells Time machine ,and a 100 13-14 year olds went back to "our" old school in 1973 (At least they would see some GREAT football at the BBG).How many would cope how many would suffer with nervous breakdowns. Would all of them be offended ?
My point is we seem to have lost the ability to accept a bit of "mickey taking", and are too quick to take offence and get upset over trivial comments.
